Nobody beats The King! I don't think Ratt gets the respect they deserve, ya know? I mean with such an incredible run of platinum records ta back them up. I became an instant fan the first time I heard them...although I was reluctant because at the time (we're talkin' grade school here! lol!) I felt they were stealing Motley Crue's thunder!! Which by the way was Theee 1st true Metal I had ever heard and changed my path forever (shout at the devil) I unfortunately never got the chance to see "The Wanted Men" live. but yeah, I love these guys. I wish things didn't fall apart so horribly after this album. Although, "Infestation" was a kind of redemption. I have always been curious who the real "troublemaker" in the band was (post The King's ascension) cause I believe there definitely was a "gear" that was "missing teeth" and ruined the machine!! I salute all of you "Defenders of the Faith" \m/ the chaos.
I don't think it was just Robbin who was burned out on this show. I have seen lots of live footage of this band and I can tell they all make a tired, unenthousiast impression on me here. Warren his guitarplay is maybe flawless, but he is performing without emotion, almost like a machine. And look at Juan, what happend to his stage moves? They lost not just their edge, but also their fire here. And sacking Robbin was most of all a sign of unwillto make the wrong things right again. Shame shame shame...
FrightfulAccountant I couldn’t have said it better myself. And it’s like Robbin just has been left to fade into the background here... well, not just here, but it’s especially noticeable in this clip. Truly awful and heartbreaking to see.
The bands popularity had been fading already since 1988. They know it themselves, Stephen said so himself in a 1988 interview. So while they gave their best effort here, they were clearly going through the motions. This was obviously their lowest point of their careers. Nonetheless, we have to be thankful for at least having good footage of the original lineup during their prime era 1983-1991.
Please stop pissing on the dead. While Robin might have had a good times as did all in the band . Watch VH1 Behind the music. Robin was the blood line & hit maker . Lets call spade a spade. Warren does not become Warren without Robin's help & no hits have come since Robin's departure. Warren looks lost with Carlos(Quiet Riot) taking over has left him ...well lost. I will not buy another Ratt CD> Thanks to Jaun & Stephen for there help with Robin in his last days. Robin was made for Rock & Roll & a true pro. His last show that all seem to piss on is the stage crews fault. They had & or lay out the guitars for the group. As a pro he played on & some so called band mate pissed on him for it. Karma is paid 10 fold.
jes robbin was made for the rock but he choose the drugs above it playing guitar and taking coke or pep dous not work the rest of the band was seeing that
I don't care what replies are to your post, but i couldn't agree with you more and that was very well put. I always said where is the responsibility of the road crew insuring the proper guitar was laid out so he can just run off, grab it, and run back on. After all he is in the middle of performing a concert for a lot of people here...
Totally agree I will never buy another ratt CD or go to any of their concerts. I honestly used to idolize Stephen, now I see that he was negative against other bands. Warren used to be my guitar hero. I've seen some shows or he's just playing he doesn't give a shit about the fans. Like he's just going through the motions to get it done and over with. a band is a relationship that you have and it if the relationship is bad all the way around there going to do shit or leave the relationship Target messed up to deal with the situation that you cannot control that people have a bad influence on you and their view of life. You can't change them so it's easier to walk away and do a your ownbut you still look like you're the ass because you're choosing to find something that is on a level that you're on. Robin was a great guitar player and a great human being it seems. So kindly I'm just trying to say the king is gone, the rest can fall to the wayside.
@@blackpanterpower-fh5gn the band was the reason why he started doing all of that shit. He didn't use drugs or alcohol tour. Not until almost the end of it all.
The story I heard was Robin Crosby grabbed the wrong guitar for this song. I was tuned differently than Warrens. I think instead of LA Glam we got British New Wave for a song.
He used E flat the whole show, when some songs are drop D. However, the mistake is not fatal. I guarantee that no one in the crowd noticed a tuning difference, especially with that volume.
Ratt Behind The Music talks about the mistake Robbin made during the Japan tour. So where is the video proof of Robin messing up? I have yet to see any footage of him messing up. Makes me think the other band members fabricated this tale and used the lie as an excuse to get Robbin out of the band. Can someone provide footage of Robbin messing up or does the footage not exist?
Yeah he can't even sing I used to think you could sing when I was in high school.now thirty years later I realized how limited he is.not only his voice but his mindset his view of Life his jealousy of other bands is energy and more.
Steven was already sounding bad here. The way he changes how he pronounced certain words he sang was annoying. You can hear it on the Detonator album too. I guess they can fix pitch issues but not change that. Actually it may have started with Reach for the Sky.
Bass players Jazzercise moves still give me lame chills. At least he’s missing BonJovi’s frilly white leather bitch boots.& jacket. Probably a good dude but man, like Janick Gers, good dude, but gives my lame chills lame chills. His bros needed to break the news to him, because he’s convinced he’s badass but Jazzercise teachers in legwarmers are even rolling their eyes. Ratt, great band. Only band of the prancing poodle rock category I dig grande
What is not to love about this song? FANTASTIC song!! Great clip!!
Even had the king, what an epic song
Warren has an amazing tone here. Thanks for uploading.
Full out on ten cross the board 1968 and 1969 Superlead \ Superbass. Gotta be

I see something else. I agree, They Sacked ROBBIN. But they were also doing ALBUM, TOUR, ALBUM , TOUR, ALBU!, TOUR, ALBUM , TOUR
Ratt N Roll 👍
Great sounds but I wish i was there
RIP ROBIN
I asked the same question many times but none seems to have it :-(

Robbin wrote most of the biggest hits for them

The full show is on UA-cam. Search Ratt Japan 91. First video that came up for me.
it shows it where he messed up sound while round n round solo with warreN
@@nosajdabeno Just searched and watched that concert. Nope, no mistakes by Robben.
@@akadkins69 Nope, just watched it. Robben plays the solo flawlessly when the harmony comes in.
@@UptempoMusicLessons he used a guitar that was tuned in a different key. He played the right notes, just out of key
Wasn't this Robbin's last show with them?
He rocks. He didnt make a damn mistake. If he did who gives a damn anyway. Steve Pearcy is a fricking mistake.
Yeah he can't even sing I used to think you could sing when I was in high school.now thirty years later I realized how limited he is.not only his voice but his mindset his view of Life his jealousy of other bands is energy and more.

GO JUAN!!
Yay
Do you have footage of the mistake that Robbin makes?
It doesn't exist.
I’ve seen it but it’s been yanked
I must be tripping cuz it almost looks like he's lip syncing
Look, I love Ratt. No doubt. And, yes, I know, I know, I know, we all love Juan's energy. But, sometimes he does look a little spastic. Just saying...
what a boring concert lol
