Try sending PL morgan dollars to NGC. NGC seems less strict on grading than PCGS. I went to one of their grading classes in 2014 and the instructor/grader said "We assign the highest grade that the coin deserves." That gives the impression they sometimes overgrade coins but not by much (maybe half a grade on average).
I like the '80-S the best, the '80-S is nice too

Hi, Ben. I like the second 80-S Morgan with a touch of toning. It's outrageous! LOL. I can see why the 85-O got the 65. The 23 Peace dollar has a stunning obverse. Whoever cleaned the 28 Peace Dollar did a lousy job cleaning. I wouldn't let them clean my toilet. I'm surprised the SLQ didn't get a detail grade because of the rim ding over the I in LIBERTY. The story about your brother was touching.
I'd risk submitting or crossing the SLQ for a regrade. That one should be VG-8.
4:30 LHS, depends on if NGC would've starred it (one sided PL/"SPL") - if so, I'd pay $80-100, if not, I'd pay $50-70.

Semi-PL is ok, just a premium coin over a normal 1879-S.
97 o half is a 1000.00 dollar coin.
1921 slq net grade due to rim ding at 11o clock

Basically every Morgan and peace dollar you showed was a grade under graded. I feel it’s intentional at this point Ben. They are playing games with you.
The 78-S is the one that most convinces me. If you would have shown that last, you’ld see it the same way. But that coin is so clearly undergraded it leaves me at the conclusion of intentionally. Like cmon, it’s a common coin. Not like
a deal breaker for the value to give it a PL. or a 65. Really.
