Adam the movie called The Bell Witch Haunting was shot in Hendersonville , Tennessee at Rock Castle.. about story of John Bell.. I did the music for the movie soundtrack..
Holy crap, Adam! I spent so much of my childhood in Pembroke! One of my best friends lived there. So many memories skating around that tiny town! Beautiful out there. Once two Amish kids wanted to race us on their bikes. Love the adventures man! stay safe out there
adam, nashville/the old jail where shawshank redemption was filmed, mysteriousnashville/underground nashville, centennial park w/carillon bells, grand ole opry building....south of nashville falls mill, belvedere,tn-you can camp there overnight , beautiful place/area & yes, it's pronounced pembrook...lol
I've always been fascinated by the Bell Witch. I'm actually jealous of you getting to see all that. Can't wait to see what tomorrow's adventure brings us.
I often find the stories of witches fascinating. It is hard to know whether they exist but, it is nice to have a little bit of information. I guess if some people can see apparitions then maybe it is possible..
adam, this must have been yesterday, the black/white cow is where we buy lottery tickets, the museum in adams they have a fiddler's/bluegrass competition every year & tractors/antique, i played hammered dulcimer w/a guitarist on that back porch of the bell cabin! ty for the video & the memories!...you must be headed to nashville i think.
Kentucky has 120 counties. Coyotes have been documented in all of them. I live next to a large farm and I hear them "sing" almost every night. In Kentucky, there are so many of them, coyote season has been been extended to 365 days a year. All you need is a hunting license.
And there is a cemetery that has a large majority of the Bell descendants buried in it just down the road from that old school that is now a museum on that same side of the road he probably would have visited had it not been raining. Strangely it was raining the last time I was there as well.
WOW, that stone mansion is incredible. Would LOVE to live in it!! Such a charming old town. Cool to see how the streets and shops looked back in the 1940's.
That's right down the road from me. As for the bell witch cave tour...while the sign says profanity and alcohol prohibited, the guy running the ticket trailer didn't care about that. I asked a few questions and at my fourth, he said asked with his Busch beer breath, so you want to see the fucking cave or not quit wasting my time. I haven't bothered going back. This was october 2014. I'm not sure if they are under new management and I haven't bothered to check. It was a bummer.
my mom and dad went ..we live in Tn now... my dad smuggled camera in and my mom took a rock.....needless to say dad had to get a new camera and as mom was leaving cave something came down and took a quarter size chunk out of her scalp causing her to drop that rock and sending her for stitches....ya that place is real..... we are from Cali.....
adam, there is an old saying around here, i live in sinking fork, ky but it applies to the surrounding areas of the bell witch, that on halloween eve, if you say 'bell witch' thirteen times while looking in a mirror, the bell witch would appear and scratch your face.
As you may know, that’s not the cabin. Not even close. All written accounts say this about the cabin - it was a double size log structure, one and a half stories high, weather-boarded on the outside, furnishing six large comfortable rooms and two halls, and was one of the best residences in the country at that time. - M.V. Ingram
Welcome to my part of the country Adam. The siren you were referring to in Trenton is part of a weather warning system called a COWS system. They are used during severe weather as a warning device when there is a threat of tornados or other severe weather event. If you continue down HWY 41, you will eventually come to a town called Springfield. If you turn left (north) on HWY 431 and come to a small town called Russellville, I could show you some other interesting sites filled with history. Safe travels wherever you go.
You weren't far from where I live. We used to scare each other by making someone stand in front of a mirror in the dark and say 'I hate the Bell Witch' 3x's. Those statues are all over around here. There used to be a store that had a 20' foot tall Indian in front of it until straight line winds knocked him over and broke it.
Actually, on the cabin you showed, the plaque said that cabin wasn't part of the family residence. That it was the only surviving structure built by members of the Bell family. I was thinking that cabin was very small for a family of some means.
Hey Adam! I live about 30 minutes from Adams. Grew up hearing the story. If you are ever back in the area let me know. I can take you to where the Bell home originally stood. The family well is still there as well as the grave of John Bell in the woods. Good stuff!
hey Adam, if your in the Tenn area, April 5, or 6 we are investigating the Old South Pittsburgh Hospital (haunted hospital) in South Pittsburgh Tenn. your more than welcome to come investigate it with us. and you can sleep in one of the old patient rooms.
I am from KY but like now in TN and you were pretty close to where I used to live in Adairville KY and where I now live in Greenbrier TN. Yet, though I have been to and through Adams, I have yet to go to the Bell Witch Cave and the cemetery. And that is odd for me because the paranormal and occult are a big part of my life.
From 00;00 to 04;00, Ive been on that stretch of road many times going to a customer in my big rig. In fact,Ive wanted to check out the BBQ place where that cow is,but there isn't any big rig parking. Ive thought about taking a weekend and driving down there and checking it out.
Another vlog well done. Hopefully the weather warms up & you can make your way up to the Northern Ky/Cincinnati area. Until then keep up the awesome work. Have a great day & Keep On Wooin!!!!
Just a thought Jonesbourgh TN would be a cool place for you to visit. It's the oldest town in TN. Lots of history there. I grew up in the city next to it called Johnson City and my parents still live there. My Dad could tell you a lot of cool stories about the area. :)
I think the Pink Elephants are outside of liquor stores. The "pink elephant" is something that people are said to see quite often when they're drunk. It's a drunken hallucination
Morning, brother! Great vid as usual. You were within 10 miles of me yesterday. Wish I would have seen you around. Clarksville's got a few historical spots & some friendly folks. Have a good'un!
(1:55) did you notice the hex on the building? It is a germanic symbol of protection against withcraft. Some Native Indigenous tribes of the Americas also believed in this pattern in weaving or stiching
Creepy tale of "The Bell Witch"! Glad to see you've made tracks and left that town and the mysterious trash truck in the dust! By the way, I think Santita's Tortilla Chips are the best! Only $2.00 a bag too!
My nephew's wife had a step dad that was related to the Bell Witch. I have always likes the paranormal stuff so when she told me that her step dad was related to the Bell Witch. I thought it was awesome.
Hey Adam, if you head up to Morristown Tennessee check out the location they shot "Evil Dead".. I don't think the cabin is there but there are remnants of the bridge, basement and the fireplace.....great video btw,

Years ago when my wife and I were on road trip going thru Pembroke we stopped for some supper and a drink. I struck up a casual conversation with one of the locals in the bar we were at and he said he would like to introduce us to his wife and sister that were sitting at the table behind us. I turned around to look and there was only one woman sitting there. well that's Kentucky for ya.!!!!
Adam I wanted to let you know that I really do enjoy your vlogs so very much , thank you for doing what you are doing and being so much joy and after laughter in so many people's lives 💕😊😍!!!!!!

I work in a hospital in TN and part of my job is performing EKGs. Last night I did an EKG on a Bell(not gonna say his first name) but he said he was ken to John Bell and I just looked at his picture of John Bell and the man last night was the spitting image of John Bell. 😳😳😳
oh and we have cow statues where I come from -the towns called cowaramup but we call it cow town instead because it's a rural diary town -it's called Cowaramup after the cowara plant named by the Aboriginal people in the area 'up' at the end means 'place of' -just thought I'd share

So that thing with the three horns is a tornado siren. And those big cylinder looking things are called silos (pronounced s-eye-lows), which are really cool.

Its hit & miss with you Adam, fortunately your hits keep me coming back! This one made me spit out my morning coffee!
Sounds to me like John Bell was smoking the good stuff.
I love seeing the old southern towns, complete with the Coke/Pepsi signs. So much history hidden in places that are too often passed by.
me too I love those signs
adam, nashville/the old jail where shawshank redemption was filmed, mysteriousnashville/underground nashville, centennial park w/carillon bells, grand ole opry building....south of nashville falls mill, belvedere,tn-you can camp there overnight , beautiful place/area & yes, it's pronounced pembrook...lol
Pat, there is also a town in NC spelled Pembroke,& pronounced Pembrook. For a minute there...
ty, it's great to find out something you didn't know about!!
I grew up a town bordering this one and lived in this town for a short while during high school.
I've always been fascinated by the Bell Witch. I'm actually jealous of you getting to see all that. Can't wait to see what tomorrow's adventure brings us.

I'd never have seen any of these beautiful, small neon towns if it weren't for you Adam! 👍🏽🛣 all the best
I often find the stories of witches fascinating. It is hard to know whether they exist but, it is nice to have a little bit of information. I guess if some people can see apparitions then maybe it is possible..

I love!! Like 90 seconds into the video, I was singing "Here Comes the Rain Again". Then at the end, Adam starts signing it. :-)
If it were raining cats and dogs, you would be running into poodles.
Granny stop omg
Granny Vapes there they say that wasn't rain, that was just a s-cat-tering of showers.
David Burroughs fail
Yeah, it wasn't that punny

You should come to Greeneville Tennessee! we have the Andrew Johnson birthplace and all sorts of awesome antique/vintage stores and buildings.

I think of Johnny Cashs song I've Been Everywhere when I watch your vlogs Adam.....Thank You.
I think of that song often myself
Bell was an Irish/Scottish name. Graham a good example. He invented something that used to ring oddly enough!
Bel was a deity in Ireland.
For a second I thought maybe the bell witch had morphed herself into a garbage truck lol
Look closely at the driver...
I was waiting for some drone action over that gate.....
I might have if if it wasn't raining
yup, same :)
@~10:20 just a piece of slate. Might be from the cave. Story goes back before the Bells, but supposedly they disturbed her burial site.
Grew up not far from Adams in Springfield tenn, always knew of the Witch.

I stayed inside the Bellwitch cave a few times back in the 80s. It was pretty common to let groups stay inside overnight.
Edward Burkeen that would have been fun but creepy at the same time
I have been to Adams,Tn twice to visit the sites related to the Bell witch haunting. Very intriguing.
Hey Adam, if you head up to Morristown Tennessee check out the location they shot "Evil Dead".. I don't think the cabin is there but there are remnants of the bridge, basement and the fireplace.....great video btw,
Dale Dunlap He has, search for evil dead filming locations 30 years later.

Adam, since you are back in TN, I am wondering if you would have any interest in visiting the Shiloh battlefields. Some historians consider it the best preserved.
Yes, my thoughts exactly!!! I live in Parsons Tennessee
The End, reminded me of the old "picture show" here in Australia with the curtain closing [Picture Show] = (Cinema)
the pink elephant is in Hopkinsville on Pembroke rd.
Those round buildings were for drying tobacco.... and the castle is called Guthrie Castle..... Barnaby Jones-like skills LOL!
"I'll see myself out... I'll see myself out." ROFL - that was the best!

Wow!!! Sometimes a person can reincarnate into the same family and when they do they tend to favor theirselves from the past life..
