FFTA is honestly my second favorite final fantasy game, yeah its pretty simple and the story is kinda meh compared to other games in the series. Maybe it's because this is the only game I had on my Gameboy advance sp and I played it for like 3000 hours as a depressed teen but it really holds a special place in my heart.
Ffta holds a nice place because it was a game that felt it was easy to play and get into. My first time playing I assumed the game didn't have many jobs until I started playing more
I mean, after you get past the fact that the story and characters (besides perhaps Marche, Mewt, and Ritz crackers) are almost second-hand next to the strong gameplay elements, you’ll eventually appreciate what the game throws at you. Fixed bugs and its expanded compartmental job system welcome multiple playthroughs for veteran players. Adding Blue Magic, Monster-catching and morphing all bring extra variants to the table that the original game lacked. Montblanc, although a neat gimmick, casts an uncomfortable shadow on the game’s already transparent notoriety. Only the fingers on one hand can count each important character to pay close attention to. The story, while also a cute gimmick, fails to really expand upon the perspectives the plot pilots with. One person wants to go home; while, the other two don’t want to. The music is also VASTLY inferior to what Sakimoto composed for the PlayStation title. Plus…the gameboy advance shrinks the sound quality a bit while you’re playing it. Hearing Painful Battle on UA-cam is one of my go-to songs if I need to step up to do something. I understand it’s your opinion, but I don’t think this game holds a candle to maybe a little over half the mainline titles. Or in other words: all the games from 5 to 12. 6/10 game, if that. Enjoyable, but not riveting or groundbreaking by any means.
Love your video. In my opinion, i'm kinda like these longer videos, but would love to have some commentaries, your opinions on top, throughout the video.

Watching Llednar getting his invincibility stripped was satisfying.
i remember the first time i played and you could finally fight him, felt great
@@Nolongeraktive yea. The survive mission was not that hard but the most challenging mission in this game when you're underleveled imo.
@@alandensir3486 thats one thing that changes in ffta 2. its harder to overlevel
@@Nolongeraktive yikes. I've been putting off playing the game till the school holidays tbh. When are you starting the tips videos for ffta2?

i do want to do longer vids, not too long. as for the commentary, i tend to do post commentary as its easier for my circumstance
Well, somehow i skipped all tricks for fast leveling and faced her at lv17. It was really a nightmare
