- The week we take you out to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where we show you a full day at the Sandos Finisterra All Inclusive Resort. Come with us as we show you all the food we have from buffets to their more traditional Mexican cuisine @ Don Diegos. We also show you the beach life , the different pools setups and also what you can do for entertainment at the resort ,which was one of the big highlights at the resort. We love all inclusive resorts as you can be as laid back and as busy as you want to be.
This resort was pretty good and the food and drinks didn’t disappoint , and all of the restaurants on property are really good. The resort focus’s the the main things you want to see in an all inclusive resort, service, food /drinks and a great atmosphere, which it does great with all 3. Plus we give you those tips and tricks about some secrets regarding the food and also getting your fresh caught fish prepared right on property. All nestled right across the street from the Cabo marina , which makes for one of the best views out in Cabo.

I do think we hit a great place that offers a little everything, plus being close to town and having some great food were great . It for sure tops the list of Mexico resorts we have been to also .

we are looking at going at the end of February. I see you were there in February as well, is it not as busy? Also what is the average temp during that time
We were actually there in October last year . Just didn’t get released til February as our channel runs behind a bit. I would assume same crowd sizes , which weren’t bad at all. Avg temp in February is like 81 degrees. We had a great time.
What did you think about Sandos ? Should you stay here ? Or if you have been , how did you like it ?
Does all inclusive mean all of the meals are free? Also, what transportation did you use to get from the airport? Thank you
Great questions. We setup a private transport with a group of us going. We personally isn’t setup that transport so I don’t have a lot of info on that.
As for the meals, everything is included. There we certain restaurants that were designated at times for certian levels of status (ie: Tortuga beach was exclusive for Lunch and Emiliano’s was exclusive for breakfast. ) either than that there were no restrictions. The dinners were wide open at any of the restaurants. Also all the drinks are free as well. Check out our video where we go over and rank these restaurants head to head to get a deeper dive on the food.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants? And was your mini bar full and refilled daily. Also was the room service 24 hrs?
We don’t believe there is a dress code for the restaurants. I would assume just no swimsuits in the fancy restaurants. We don’t remember seeing a mini bar in the fridge and we never ordered room service so we can’t speak on that.
Is there a designated smoking area anywhere ?
There are multiple areas nestled around the resort for smoking. Away enough to where it in any intrusive to the people who don’t smoke , but close access to everyone who does need that space.
Going this summer any suggestions on things to do
On the resort they have activities during the daytime (volleyball,aerobics, even a shooting contest). At nighttime is where the resort shines with is great entertainment and shows nightly.
As far for Cabo, the resort is right next to the marina making for close access to tons of different excursions like sport fishing, catamaran rides, glass bottoms boat rides to lands end. And als really close to some good restaurants in the downtown district. There is plenty to do, just depends on how active you want to be. Hope you guys have a great trip !!
My husband and I are thinking about going there. Do they offer poolside lunch service?
Yes they do . At the pool bar , there is more direct access to the wait staff for the poolside service. I do believe they also go down to the lower pool as well. But we mostly stayed around the pool bar. Good luck with you trip planning.

Yes they have pizza and sushi that they offer at the pool. You can also go to the restaurant at the pool area and dine under the palapa!
