Some people say Lucy is weak. I disagree. She started training later than most wizards in Fiore. She uses one of the rarest magics of all time, Celestial Spirit Summoning. There are a total of 4 people who have or are using this magic: Anna Heartfilia, who live 400+ years ago, her mother, who died when she was young, Angel/Sorano and Yukino. Out of everyone, she has the most Zodiac Keys, ten out of twelve. She's been able to keep three gates open at once, and fight on her own at the same time.I believe that the reason she appears weaker is that she can't fight as long as Natsu, Erza, Gray and others. But, I also believe that her magic exacts the same, if not a greater, physical toll on her as her friends magic. Her magic just uses her energy at a faster rate than most. She's forcing open a door into another world for crying out loud! Sorry about the rant, but she is one of my favorite characters, and also one of the most underestimated.

Lucy is aware of her weaknesses and acts prudently. But she is developing, training. She saves Loki by risking her life. She fights against Tartaros. She rewrites the letters in the Book of End, risking herself. They beat her, and she smiles in the face of the enemy.She opens the Gate and penetrates the past, crippled, and saves friends. She is strong in spirit. By the end of the manga, this is already a full-fledged sorceress. And she hides her pain from friends, realizing that everything happens in life is hard

My personal opinion is that she and natsu should just end up together it’s killing me that it’s taking so freeking long for them to realize their feelings for each other and Lucy is one of the strongest ones because she fights even when she is badly hurt she doesn’t care about her wounds just about perfect the people she loves
