Description -
Hello fairy tail guild members and fans alike, welcome to what I consider to be my Magnum Opus on my channel (the best edit I've made). A video dedicated to Lucy Heartfilia! I feel like Lucy hasn't gotten the same level of love and dedication in the editing community as some of the other characters like Natsu and Erza. Personally, they're some of my favorite characters, but I still feel like Lucy deserves the same love and respect. She's the first character we see in the anime and manga after all! So I decided to go all out and give her my best editing that I possibly could.
I really wanted to tell her story to the fullest, as I feel like she has such an incredible journey through the show. From moving on past her father and accepting herself as a part of Fairy Tail, to strengthening her bond with her spirits, to losing so much in her life, to growing stronger as a wizard and finally to realizing what an incredible family she's joined, Lucy has had one hell of an adventure. So I made what is possibly my longest story edit to showcase that (nearly 16 minutes!!).
I really hope you all enjoyed this edit. It took me a month of near nonstop editing to create. I don't normally ever spend this much time and effort on a video, but since I've graduated university at the end of last year and am currently without a job (I have one lined up! Just haven't reached the start date yet ^^) I had the time to make this. Thank you all so much for your support and for loving Fairy Tail!

Fairy Tail is one of the best things to happen in my life too, I discovered it in 2020 and still to this day it's my favorite show of all time, and had a positive impact on my life! I caught up to it and have been reading it since just before the 2014 series started. I can see the benefits of bingeing it though. The last arc was personally a bit of a disappointment for me so I backed off for a while, but 100 year quest is glorious! Would recommend if you haven't picked it up. More epic Lucy moments for sure!
I cried so hard during the part about breaking aquarius's key.
I was trying to bring out the tears :P Despite going through some tragic stuff in the show, I feel like people overlook that cause she gets flung about in the show as the big titty girl who gets the butt of the jokes. So I really wanted to show off that she's dealt with some hard things and how it's affected her
HOW AM I JUST FINDING THIS???? I have no other words to describe how amazing this tribute is. I literally got chills as I'm watching this. Lucy is my most favorite character in Fairy Tail. Her growth as a character and a mage is a wonderful sight to see. I remember in the past she was so hated because people think she's weak, useless, and only for fanservice; until Tartaros where she displayed such tremendous growth, and even now in the sequel that made her become so well respected and getting the flowers she deserves. It's like Hibiki said: "the power she had then is nothing compared to what she has now". And now she's getting recognized as not just a powerful Celestial Spirit Mage, but also a powerful mage.
Thank you so much! Really means alot you enjoyed it :D Having watched all of the Fairy Tail anime and having read up to volume 12 of 100 year quest, yee she is incredible. Mashima really did a good job of giving her character more and more power as time went on and it shows as she's become such a powerful celestial mage as the series has gone on. I really wanted to show how much of a badass she can really be, and not just the quirky weak girl that everybody likes to stereotype her as
I love Mavis' story so much that I can't honestly call anyone but her my _favorite_ Fairy Tail character, but if you were ask me who I thought the _best developed_ character in the series is, it's Lucy, hands down, and it's kinda not even close. Certainly, she stands head and shoulders above the female leads of most other battle shounen I can think of.
Her climb was gradual, so incrimental I barely even noticed it, but by the timeskip, there was no denying how incredible she was anymore. The Light of Fairy Tail, indeed.
I can get behind that, I'm kind of in the same boat. Erza is my favorite character, but I think Lucy is the most well developed as she's the first main character we see and has had the biggest character development out of anybody. Hence why I spent so long on making this edit, I really wanted to show everything she had to offer
“I got no idea what’s going on in the most wonderful way!” I don’t watch anime but gotta show some support, a fifteen minute edit is very impressive!

I love this tribute you did for her. It’s so beautifully made for her. She had to deal with a lot of crap from her father and she became a powerful Celestial Spirit Wizard to even summon the Celestial Spirit King to save everybody from Mard Geer and the demons. She is truly one awesome wizard.

Thank you so much for the kind words!! It took a lot of time to really analyze Lucy's character, so I really appreciate ya noticing the storytelling aspect of it. She doesn't often get as much traction in the editing scene compared to characters like Natsu or Erza, so I wanted to make an edit of her that told her story to its fullest. In all the videos I've watched of Lucy's character, not once did her conversation with aquarius during the tartaros arc ever come up. To me that was the arc she was became my favorite. When you grow up feeling weak and alone, where being strong is a struggle, standing up and fighting an army as well as making an almost impossible choice. That is a sign of strength and character, Aquarius's words "Natsu isn't coming" will always hit me hard.
I love Lucy so much my favorite character in Fairy Tail. She is great Heroine.❤🎉😊

Lucy is truly a great character so happy to see more people that love her. Fairy Tail has some pretty great characters all with some excellent character development and awesome fights. Lucy definitely has some of the best moments throughout the story.

Yee I agree with that to an extent. I still think the anime showed off alot of badass moments for her (hence how I was able to make this edit lol) but they definitely could've done alot more for her. I'm really glad you enjoyed the edit!! :D

This video must have taken a pretty decent amount of time to edit. You did an incredible job, this was such an wonderful tribute to Lucy. I personally hate Dubbing in Animes. That's why I didn't plan to watch this Asmv at first, but when I saw that it was 15 minutes long, I felt like there was a real effort in this ASMV and I wanted to watch it. And now I'm glad I watched it cause İt's SO GOOD!! literally I found myself crying- my Favorite scene is Chapter 3 "Loss" This was seriously the main reason why I started crying. And this was the part that impressed me the most! I love Lucy so much and it's great to find such good asmv about her! Also, the way you edited the scenes together is great! All the scenes and lines have been carefully and in detail and it really shows that you put a lot of effort into it. (I still don't like the dub, but watching it I thought it wasn't that bad!) Hi there, thanks for making this video. I've been watching Fairy Tail in dub since the current arc was Tower of Heaven. Laxus was my favorite character for a while. But as the series went on, I rewatched, and read the manga, Lucy was too kind to ignore. It is clear that you and many of the commenters here see what I see.
Fairy Tail kinda transcends the medium for me. I'm 23 now and I have the emblem tattoo'd on my forearm. When things get rough, I look to The Guild to keep my head up.

I always took issue with this. Aquarius had abused Lucy for years, and make no mistake, it was abuse. If Leo could be blamed for Karen’s abuse of Aries, then Aquarius should absolutely be held responsible for her treatment of Lucy. It doesn’t matter if they have a mother-daughter bond, it doesn’t excuse Aquarius’s actions or words to Lucy. Celestial Law is supposed to work both ways, but Leo got blamed for Karen’s misdeeds.
So… breaking Aquarius’s key and Aquarius simply returning to the Spirit World full time… it felt to me like she was getting away with all that abuse.
To that effect, a different method of Summoning the Celestial Spirit King should have happened. Yukino should been there, and they could used the magic of the twelve Zodiacs to summon the King, cracking the keys in response. The keys would recover over several months, but not break. Thus allowing Lucy to learn to survive without her spirits for a time, and Aquarius doesn’t away with all that abuse without punishment.
But that may just be me.

Hello! As a matter of fact yes, Wendy is the next Fairy Tail character I plan on editing. I've had quite a few request for her, and I plan on delivering. I wanted to do Lucy first tho, so now Wendy is next ^^
I do wish bora or fake salamander was in prison for life, because he was definitely going to sex traffic lucy and in the manga he was literally going to brand her.

I plan on it! If you check my Fairy Tail playlist on my channel, you'll see I'm slowly but surely making edits to a bunch of the main characters on the show. Currently on the list for 2023 (besides Lucy obviously, as it's uploaded :P) are Wendy, Laxus and Juvia. I might do more, but those are characters I want to get for sure.
