I know that I'll get a lot of negative comments but for me this is also art and shows great craftsmanship. If I see what modern art colleges produce, I feel that we're back at the dawn of mankind.
Well, that really gladdened my heart. How wonderful to see people doing work that involves focused attention and patience, qualities we don't seem to have much use for today. It's amazing that work of this sort was being done under wartime conditions, when materials must have been in short supply. By the way, notice the shirt and tie at 4:45!
I enjoyed this immensely! I truly love the old ways. They were good, honest, and quality. We are kind of lacking this today. I live in the wrong century. Lol Thanks so much.
These look like outtakes from 2nd Unit filming for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (the one with Gene Wilder). A certain early 20th Century non-specific continental Europe (although, pretty sure these are all filmed in the Netherlands).
Today, we are in an era of disposable Chinese products and cheap quality Ikea junk that has no beauty or craftsmanship or soul. Soon it will all be computer "designed" and 3-D printed.

How these people possessed the patience to create such exquisite articles amazes me

I'm a craftsman for a living myself so thumbs up for this one!
The movie quality is incredible and the craftsmanship also👍🏻😊
It’s sad many of these trades no longer exist today. This was when people actually took pride in their workmanship and things lasted.

Amazing craftsmanship... While the ww2 Was roaring around them.
Je blijft me verassen :)
bravo
prachtig!
At 5:22 for a moment I thought that guy was wearing some first generation Adidas Shell Toe shoes
Mooi!
The paint work could be Hindelooper schilderkunst, but i am not 100% sure!
Yo was nice:)

Many lost arts in there Rick, I know that the world progresses, but it is a shame to see fine quality workmanship disappear.

Were the Germans around the area then?
And your kids are on Instagram all day.
