probably will be a challenge to really animate frame by frame the hammer wielding sequence instead of cheating it by motion tweening if I want to remake this animation in the future...

the anime itself is very notorious on the seizure scenes so yeah, really harmful.

That possibly more than anything kept GGG from being aired anywhere in North America.
alot more then just that, there was the timing of release in america, first episode had a twinned tower getting attacked, many of the scary, somewhat traumatic scenes of zondars and thats not even to mention how realistic in fear factor they got, despite the gaint robots and gaint robot alien's that fed on negative emotions. Like the show is a master craft beyond poorly time release, reference to real world fears, seizure issue (which got fixed around episode 20) and worst of all sadly 2001 was not a good year for anime.
A lot of old anime do these flashes often
People getting seizures is probably the reason they barely do it nowadays
