Josh lying about who he switched is a great move. If he kept up the lie and convince Nikki that her wolf card got switched, she would have thought to play for the villagers and say who has the wolf card now and then Josh will know Nikki still has the wolf card because he lied.
I thought Nikki would say immediately that she had the WW card, but damn she waited.
She would've won either ways. If she was civilian or WW, picking pat was the right move. Love this game when everyone was lying. Previous game, everyone was so honest that the WW had nowhere to hide.

If Nikki was WW but Josh convinced her she was civilian by saying he switched her card with pat then she would have said she was WW but if Josh switched her then we should kill pat. It's easy strategy when you playing with people easily manipulated. "Julia not cluing in she was on villager team"
The moment Nikki did her first move, I was like 'YASSS, Now with get to watch how great Gameplay is done'.
If Julia saw a minion in the very beginning, she should have known pat's role was good in the beginning and she should have known that she was on the villagers team
Yeah, exactly! She needed to deduce that but her brain couldn't do it? and another vital info is the fact that drunk's move comes AFTER troublemaker so no matter what she'd for sure have a villager's card.
Julia made it very easy for Nikki to go under the radar and play them all 🤷♀️
That's too much to ask from Julia. She cannot think those things. Antoine, Byron and Nikki are good in those games.
That’s true. If Julia had assumed that no one switched with her, then her card would have been switched with pat, and since pat swapped with the middle, that would have meant that there were no werewolves. But too bad, Nikki already switched hers with Julia. Lol
In defense of Julia, Josh did say first that he switched Nikki and Pat's cards. Then later told them it was actually Julia and Pat, if he lied the first time I would be unsure if he was really telling the truth the second time.

The problem here is the villager team have like zero infomation. Team villager had a robber that became a werewolf, a seer that was in a middle, 2 villagers that do nothing, a troublemaker that is unaware of what havoc they caused, a drunk that has no idea what they are when they woke up 😂 Credit for Nikki to be quick enough to work out that lying about robbing Tiff's card to stay under the radar though, that's what won her the game, and deservedly so, because everyone else was completely lost, haha. Poor Julia when she thought she had won though 😂

Smart strat by Nikki to claim she robbed Tiff after Tiff revealed she was villager - no one questioned it.
This game was quite linear because the Seer card wasn't in play, otherwise it would be much more confusing.
Nikki turned it around at the end there, but her yelling she’s not saying anything right at the start was shady as hell. Julia played this one flat out bad lmao. Fun watch, keep it up jkp :)

I found you guys by looking at how to play ONUW two years ago. Been watching JKP ever since! Love this game! Nikki is the MVP!
Welcome to episode 127 of Julia doesn't use her brain.
There was no reason to think she was werewolf anymore, so why was she so surprised in the end. She would've known Josh was on the good team and had no reason to lie that late in the game. Although Nikki stole her card, in Julia's own scenario the way she played doesn't make any sense at all.
Tune in next time when Julia forgets she was insomniac and saw her own card.

I think Julia thought Josh was lying because he changed his scenario from Pat and Nikki to Pat and Julia but she had no idea why he lied.. then she heard Pat saying that he switched his drunk with the minion.. she mixed too many scenarios in her head that's why she preferred playing as a WEREWOLF pretending being minion.. that's Julia being Julia LOL

Nikki's strategy worked but it's also one hell of a leap of faith. If Tiff was a wolf then this game is over in a minute. There's no way she could have gone back on that.

Good try Josh. Had he held out a little longer or lied a little better he could have gotten Nikki to reveal the truth. Of course it didn't help that he said he switched Nikki with Pat who Nikki thought was suspicious meaning even if Josh trouble made them Nikki still might have thought she wound up back on the Werewolf team.
Had Tiff lied about her role she might have been able to reveal Nikki was lying as well. You shouldn't be so trustworthy of Robbers. If they rob a Werewolf of course they are going to say they robbed someone else. If they know what you are it makes it easy for them to say they robbed you. Although in general when playing this game you should be cautious about revealing your true role. Unless you are Insomniac you don't know what role you'll end up with.
Julia screaming for joy and then being surprised was hilarious. If she believed Pat and Josh (and she had no reason not to) then by the end Julia should have thought she was the Drunk and not the Werewolf. She knew Pat didn't start out as the Minion or Werewolf and so she had no reason not to believe his Drunk story.
Anyway, great game JKP. You should get some of the expansions and add those roles or try One Night Vampire or Superheroes. Also if you play Coup again (and I'm sure you will) check out the Reformation Expansion for it as well. You can sort of play on teams and in some ways matches the way some of JKP wants to play.
damn rewatching this vid and byron really needs to unclench lol. there's nothing wrong with not claiming your role as villager, drunk, etc. right away... the goal is to win as what card you think you have during the day phase, you don't just give up your info especially when there's a robber and then troublemaker who'll possibly screw you

I've only watched 8 minutes and I have to say that Nikki is a genius. She immediately assessed the fact that Pat could be a Werefolf or maybe even the fact that she might not have been changed so she didn't reveal her actual change.

Hey all, there's so much negativity in these comments about individuals and who everyone likes better that I just wanted to say, that I think all of you are great. I love watching these videos. The mistakes that you make in strategy are only so easy for us to spot because we are not playing the game. You're human and that's what makes these videos so fun to watch. If you ever read this comment section, please don't be disheartened by the people saying terrible things. There are far more people that love watching you.
