The Village team actually won. In the event of a tie, both people die. So Mike (Werewolf) and Julia (Robber) died. Therefore, Village wins.
Also, I know Mike is new to the game, so it's excusable, but he took WAY too long to vote.
Exactly. I'm not trying to be a hater, but it'd be nice if they would read the rulebook and know it. It's not that long or complicated.
They’ve also said they can play how they want. So they could run house rule of must be simple majority.
@@klinsblue Yeah, which would be fine if it was explained before the game started. But in this case, it didn't seem like it was a house rule. They seemed confused until Sean explained what he thought happens in a tie. I hope I'm not coming off as a mean critic; I LOVE this channel, and it introduced me to One Night Ultimate Werewolf (my favorite game currently).

@@JaiJaiSings he really didnt. The way the game played out and the story they all agreed on was that josh was switched. So Josh fully believed he got the werewolf card Julia had, so he played to throw Julia under the bus. Josh did his job for both teams, when he believed he was werewolf he got the game rolling in their favour and took that suspicion off Mike.

This is a hella small detail, but the recommended round time is one minute less than the number of players (in this case, five minutes). This is to encourage risky plays and people really playing their information. I love the long rounds, but it makes it extremely hard for the bad guys to win
Feel like they wouldn't be able to get the most out of the game because they still gotta make money, and playing the game way more frequently to make up for shorter games and have multiple rounds in one video while still recording multiple videos of the game would wear out the fun and potential of the game the more games they play. I'd prefer a lengthy game and them only playing it three or four times in one day rather than quick rounds and playing it ten to fifteen times because they have to put multiple rounds in every video.
@@yagadoobigidibobbibigabiga38 I think they should go for 2 rounds in 1 video. To keep it interesting they could explore different roles. There are expansions for Werewolf that add more roles and then there's also Vampire, Alien, and Superheroes. You can even mix and match roles from other games. So you can mix in some Vampire roles with Werewolf roles.

Not how the game works, it would be heavily town favored if you could win that way.

@@rapidfire207 This is a team game. If you are on the team that wins then you win regardless if you died or not. In this specific game there were 3 teams. The Werewolf team (comprised of Werewolves and Minion), the Villager team, and the Tanner.
They all have different win conditions.
-- Villager team wins If at least one Werewolf dies. (This means the Villager team also wins if the town votes to kill a Werewolf AND a Tanner or a Werewolf AND another Villager. ) So long as they kill a werewolf they win. If there are no Werewolves in play AND no one dies then Villagers win.
-- Werewolf team wins if at least one player is a Werewolf and no Werewolves are killed.
-- Tanner wins if the Tanner dies. If the Tanner AND a Werewolf die both the tanner and Villager team win.
So in this game the Villager team should have won. This team included Julia, Josh, Antoine, and Ryan.
The Werewolf team lost. This team included Sean and Michael.
The card in front of you when you wake up is the role you are.
@@rapidfire207 If any Werewolf dies, the village team wins. So if Julia and Mike die, Julia, Antoine, Josh, and Ryan win as the village team.

I watched the whole video just from thinking from Sean’s perspective and it was so much fun great job Sean! I love the robber steals from werewolf scenario. And it is a little bit harder when the one you steal from no longer thinks its the werewolf
The village (Julia, Josh, Antoine and Ryan) won.
If there is a tie, both parties die, that means Julia and Mike died, but win conditions are the following :
- Village Team wins if at least one Werewolf dies.
- Werewolves Team (that includes the Minion) wins if no Werewolf is killed.
- Tanner wins (and wins alone) if he's killed.
Julia died but still won because Mike is dead.
That was a really close game, Josh catching on Mike's strategy was amazing, he played really well ! Too bad he didn't think Sean could be lying.
I know that this is 2 years old comment, but in that case, it wouldn’t be fair for the werewolf,
Imagine 2 player is suspicious (one werewolf and one villager) the town could just make it draw then so both of them die to win,
The werewolf has no other choice but to vote the villager, the villager has no other choice but to vote the werewolf
@@fos1451 The rules are stated within the insert that is included with the game. Doesn’t matter whether said rule is fair or not. Unless they were playing by some off the wall house rule (which did not seem like they were) the Village team won this one. If the game is skewed in favor of one team then it isn’t balanced and you and your group should adjust roles to compensate.

Man this was really Sean's game - good job Sean!! Also love the tanner and minion both being in the game. It makes the game spicy when potentially 2 people want to die lol
i always play with roles hidden and i get so confused, i couldn't imagine actually tryna figure out what's going on if i was playing that game
You could "play" next time as one of the roles, so "wake up" when one of the roles is called and use information you get there to deduce the rest.
watching roles hidden is harder than actually playing because you dont know ANY roles. At least you'd know your own roll in a real game

B Choi messed up already at the start, he forgot to voice the phase if there is one werewolf, where they can see the middle if they are alone, so everyone knows there is either 2 or 0 werewolves...
Technically that's an optional rule, but since they always play with it him not doing it is a giveaway to the others.
@@ThomasDailey yea but technically you should still have a phase, and have it say something like "werewolves go to sleep" and then "if there is 1 werewolf, wake up again and pick a card from the middle to see" etc. etc.
In the future y'all should add a "tanner" option to the who's going to win poll just in case!

let's be honest.
this channel hasn't been the same without the OG cast which is clearly reflected by the views on this channel.
I understand it's not easy to be a cast member, but you really need to find natural entertaining talent and not just put camera workers in front of the camera.
Understand that JKNews is the money maker and where they invest their talent, but they should look at hiring natural talent to push this channel back to a high level with more entertaining content.
Just trying to give constructive feedback.
I really like the Tanner role, it adds so much more depth, discussion, and deductive game play to the discussions. The added 15m total time to discuss, was a nice bonus too. 10m felt way too short in the past.
Always force Robber to come out first. Unless you want easy claims and mass confusion
When vote is 3 to 3.. wouldn't both the people get killed... and if one of them is ww then village teams wins.... so technically shouldn't they village team win?

Halfway through I thought Josh was the MVP of the game until he totally messed it up by not voting Mike
Josh still won. Mike died, so the Werewolves actually lost.
He had to tho, according to the information they all had and agreed on, he was the werewolf. So he played the game and voted as what he was at that point.
No Josh actually played well given the information he was given in the game because he thought he was werewolf

When the count for kills are equal, both the people are killed.
You guys really have to play the rules better, and these low player counts suck for Werewolf Games because it's too easy for Werewolves to gain a De Facto Majority, making it impossible for town to win because Werewolves would then control the vote.
With 2 Werewolves, 1 Minion, and a Robber that can become a Werewolf and no efficient way to Scumread a Robber.
What is so frustrating about watching Josh play, he basically had it picked out early on that Mike was a bad role based on how he was playing, but then switched his mind at the last minute! Mike's gameplay didn't seem like a minion or the new role either, rather it seemed like he didn't know where to inject himself and which role would be safe to claim and get suspicions off of him. Josh caught that and then decided to disregard that at the end. How can he be so smart and pick up on those behaviors and then just forget about them altogether at the last second! Great game though, really enjoy these videos.

He didn't forget. He just believed that he was possibly werewolf like everyone else did, so of course he would back off killing another werewolf. No one questioned if Sean actually robbed Josh. Julia questioned it lightly in the beginining saying that it was awfully convenient to find out who the villagers were and claim to rob them. They could have also found out who was suspicious when Josh stated he wasn't actually villager. They could have played that up and let the werewolf reveal himself but they all dismissed Josh when he tried to make that move. If they would have let that narrative play out a little that would have put the heat on Sean who claimed to rob Josh and perhaps Sean would have made an error. But by not going into either narrative, they made it all too convenient and easy for Sean to masquerade as a villager.

Gj Julia... people didn't realise you can tell truth about your ROLE but lie about who you swapped with (which robber will do if they get werewolf). No-one bought that up, not even Antoine. Werewolf is such a high skillcap game.
Love werewolf! Always rewatching older games especially when they upload a new one. Still waiting for them to play with the other roles like doppelgänger it makes everything more interesting especially when there ends up being 3 wolves

The mderator kinda messed up there with warewolfes, took too long on 2 warewolfs describtion but omited a scenario with 1 (to look at 1 center card), Town should have known there were 100% 2 warewolfs at start off of that.

I don’t know how they believed Sean’s story of Mike being minion. It would make no sense for Julia for everyone to go after Mike if he was a minion if she’s in the clear, because they would lose if that was the case

ryan's right, when there's just these roles it most of the time is a coin flip. for sure if people can't or won't lie ... (coming out as an evil role is also a play) also if the minion sees there are two wolves in the game evil has already won if in the case of a tie evil wins. i suggest you add more roles

I just disagree with what you are saying because in my opinion josh did the right thing.
For me josh did really well in this video because he figured Mike out pretty early and switched the teams at the right moment. It was just that Sean did better.
