I have this one thick lime green extension cord that's so long I could never wrap it nice & neat without the heft of all that wrapped cord getting too big to hold on my hand partways through. The shoulder length figure 8's process works though. Temple Builders!
I learned a similar one but it looked goofy cause it had you looking like you’re dancing like a madman in order to make a figure 8 looking cord so aesthetically the end result as nice, then I learned daisy chain and that one just took too long and wasn’t worth it IMO, now I’m learning the “under over” method is supposedly the “best l way to ensure to most amount of cord life long term but honestly these cords are beasts so I wonder just how much of a difference t cord life will be goin from something like this to the under and over method. Only methods I can fw are this one and another one I just saw where you wrap the cord around your elbow cause they’re both mad fast and the end result is very similar to the one presented here.
Thanks for this tip because I messed mines up it's got pig tails and shit I tried to fix it but i just didnt have time but now imma try this when i go work today and hope my boss doesnt get mad at me for not fixing the mistake i made.
Wish I knew this years ago. I used to just hold one end in my hand and with the other hand wrap the length of cord around my forearm. Always tangled that way through...
I've seen a different Figure 8. I can never remember it. I'm pretty sure I can remember this one!! And I have plenty of cord that needs to be wound up properly and stored! Thank you!!!
🤣 I wanted to go to army ranger school so bad when I was in my army infantry unit. I would have loved to have gotten that experience. I was scared of heights at the time, but if I had the opportunity, I would have went.. Thanks for commenting.
This is not the correct way to roll a stranded conductor extension cord. It may be easier than whatever you're doing, but it's not the best for preserving the condition of the twisted strands.
This feels like some type of martial art.
TEMPLE BUILDERS NINJUTSU ! Sacred art form. Thanks for commenting SJ.
My man was groovin wrapping the chord💯
You have the best form of coiling cable! The most grace and smoothness!!! You must do martial arts if you're not already doing it!

I know I've had this cord for about ten years, so it has held up to the abuse pretty good. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks dude. Great videos

Show them the daisy chain. Blow some minds for us brother
Good idea 👍. You can expect a video on that in the near future. Thanks for commenting.
Mine didn't come out quite so clean but it worked 👍
Thanks for the feedback I appreciate you commenting.
that was the longest 2-3 ft I ever seen.
😂 😂 you got me on that one. I might have misjudged that one. Thanks for commenting.
Be careful with the male/female ends; bending that close to the plugs will pull the plug and cord apart. Then it becomes easy money for OSHA.
I agree. Thanks for commenting.
If you don't plug then together, you won't be bending the cord right at the plugs. Otherwise, do it this way. 😊
hanging that way is going to reduce life of cable.
I've had it for over 5 years, so far. Thanks for commenting.
ive gotta say figga 8
Like when your rolling up your para cord
🤣 I wanted to go to army ranger school so bad when I was in my army infantry unit. I would have loved to have gotten that experience. I was scared of heights at the time, but if I had the opportunity, I would have went.. Thanks for commenting.
Looks good now but a major pain in the ass when trying to unravel. No thanks!!
I understand. Check out some of my other videos. Thanks for commenting.
Very nice! Thanks! But that's not a figure 8
Will it pass for a variation of a figure 8. Thanks for commenting.

Well, I've had the cord for 5 yrs now. Thanks for commenting.
