People who like birds, are down-to-earth and wonderful people - another best thing about them, they are super honest so Mike, you are lucky to have this wonderful person your life, she will always take care of her family, specially you.

Peacocks are great for letting you know when someone shows up in your yard LOL. There is a yard about 5 miles from my work that has about 20 of them, they stay around their yard, I noticed a few younger ones this morning.

Mike, your an amazing man. I envy your life as I live and work in a city of 6 million people. I wish I had the opportunity to take on a ranch / farm like you. I start my day watching your new videos and rewatching some of the old ones before going to that rat race I call work in the city. Thanks for all you do and your wife too. I really enjoy the videos were you break down the costs. I had no idea just watering the cattle costs! Be good. From my Toronto life... Joel Taylor

The bigger the bird the dumber the bird statement is pretty true. My brother in law worked on a farm once that raised ostriches. Ostriches are extra stoooo-pid. They had to put thin plywood in the corners to make them round, because a baby ostrich will get stuck in the corner and run themselves to death 😐

Hi again! Yup the perfect ranch critter profile Mike! One of everything! Funny how that happens whether it's the space or the kids. Extra work and food but it just couldn't be any other way and you enjoy it too. Erin's veggies look wonderful and delicious especially the carrots and the broccoli. I'd live in Wyoming again if I could be within distance to the store. Thx for the tour Mike. Hope all goes good getting ready for the big event. God bless...

Hi Mike and Erin, I came across your channel by chance a few weeks ago while doing some searching for Yellowstone Park. My girlfriend and I enjoy your program very much. We check out your channel and watch your videos every morning while we have our morning coffee. I saw your video regarding your "Our Wyoming Life" round up on August 24. We wish we could join you, Erin and the rest of your family and friends on the 24th but unfortunately, our arrival to Yellowstone and Gillette area will not co-inside. We live in Italy and this year we arrive in the states on the 28th. Every year around September, October, we take a month or so vacation to the west coast and travel around the California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado areas. At any rate, Monica and I want to thank you, Erin and your family for taking the time to post these videos. They are a joy to watch and a are a wonderful start to our mornings here in Italy.

      P. S.
If your rescue horse will tolerate, take her along when you ride - just lead her. Let her see you ride and how that goes. A possible first step toward dealing with her trauma. She may never be able to let someone ride her - but it would be nice to at least get her to not fear humans - or at least her humans.

Mike and Erin. Ask around with other Rancher's/Farmer's about a "Roundhouse" for your young chickens and peacocks. I ask a farmer once, who had a "Roundhouse" on his farm, What was the round building for ? He said that he raised his young birds in it, and it being round, the bird's could not bunch up in a corner and trample one another to death. Now I am a City Slicker, So I do not know if he was pulling my leg or not. 🤪............🇺🇸.........Rick. Pittsburgh, PA

Nope he was right, cool temps, sudden drafts, gnats, and an assortment of issues can cause birds to pile up, causing trampling and suffocating. Round pens minimize that effect.

Can you explain why trees don't grow out there? I know it's prairie, but you'd think you'd have a few around the house, is it the soil, wind?
