@@4TheCreatives yup I’ve got everything in check- Only problem is I’m not sure how to apply for positions in companies and other in-house agencies or the chances of me getting accepted
Thank you very much for your advice.I will like to start as a graphic designer in-house so as to get experience and after that i will work as a freelancer .
Thanks so much for sharing Kittl! We are excited for people to get in and start designing! We also have many design styles and categories in addition to the vintage aesthetic. 😊
I'm currently going to school for digital animation, but graphic design seems to have a little more stability. Also I didn't realize how much there was to graphic design and makes me feel more open to doing graphic design.
Both are excellent to get into. Digital animation can be super helpful for businesses as this world is going more and more into video. But graphic design is awesome too of course. It comes down to what you enjoy more.
Thank you for this video! I was wondering what are your thoughts on Affinity software. I know you are a huge Adobe fan, but since I cannot afford it, I am just curious to hear your thoughts! Have a nice day 😊
You forgot one of the KEY CONS FOR FREELANCE THERE IS NO PENSION OR VACATION DAYS PAID. Everything goes out of ur own bank freaking sucks!!!! My 2 cents is if u can GET INTO BIG COMPANY U SET
Thanks for your input on this, however, if you get your design business to a steady flow of clients, you create your vacation days and schedule clients around this. I have taken off many times and in the middle of the week without having to get approval from anyone but myself. It is a lie that you need to just work for a big company, because I am living the freelance life.
Are you looking to work in-house or as a freelancer?
Great video as per usual. I am looking at te freelancer route
Currently freelance but working on going in house, not sure which steps to take tho
@@MrOnyx have you put together a resume and portfolio?

@@MrOnyx I'm going to be having a guest on my channel at the beginning of May that is specialized in applying for jobs. My specialty is freelance.
Thanks Lauren... You're always my number one mentor/role model in this industry. Big love from Nigeria 🇳🇬🌹

I haven't ever tried it, but I have heard good things of it. I just can't speak from my own experience.
Freelance Designer
Great!
Nice video you posted. Question: where is the best website place to find general freelance jobs?
You can see this video here that gives my opinion on the freelance job sites: ua-cam.com/video/eMlzdioaok4/v-deo.html

Average salary for visual designer??
In which country? And freelance or in-house?
@@4TheCreatives India and in-house
I’m not 100% familiar with the salaries in India. In the US the average in house salary is $60,000 for a graphic design job.
I regret so much majoring in graphic design. Worst decision of my life. I make peanuts.
I'm sorry to hear that. Are you in-house?
@@4TheCreativesYes. I work from home for a printing company.
