If this is simply a DIY attempt, I definitely commend you for the excellent workmanship! I have purchased for myself and family friends (Chinese volume) several Picotin bags, so I can honestly call myself an intermediate appraiser at this time. While the end result is probably a 65% - 70% replica from your pictures, and probably 25-35% durable in terms of build (based on how you glue it together as well as creases on certain parts of the bags), I would say this is considered a B to C grade replica. Hermes bags are handmade - even from within Hermes factory - so I'm not surprised your attempt is pretty successful. However, the money is in quality and workmanship. I would say you can tell its a knockoff right from the gecko. Also, the bag retails for $2725 before tax for size 18, and depending 3700 for the largest Picotin. Depending on which state you live in, it would still be quite a stretch to get to $5000 unless you live abroad, or you're buying from the aftermarket scene. To me, I think a Picotin 18 is worth it compared to other bags in the same range. But I would keep that money to myself if I can. My significant other, though, may differ.

@@cybertree what? The person squirted lemon juice into the edge paint. Im guessing it has to do with thinning it or maybe how it sets.
