- Hi, thanks for watching this video about how to make a Sellier Birkin-inspired bag for the advanced level.
In this video, you will be shown how to make a Birkin bag step by step.
If you’re a beginner in leatherwork, I would suggest you would start with the DIY Beginner Kit.
What you need to do is only hand stitching the pre-punched holes.
Customized leather and color as well as hardware colors are not supported.

Thanks for your interest! Did you mean the electronic edge creasing tool? It works on the same principle as an electric soldering iron, except that this tool, which is specially used to decorate edges, requires a temperature display interface and special ironing heads. What a beautiful hand craft..for the flap did you use the same leather for back and front?
Thank you so much! For the flap, we use goat leather as interior leather same as the leather lining. As for the exterior leather we would suggest stiff leather like Epsom.

Are there certain reinforcement materials that are better than others ?and what would you recommend?
Hi normally different parts use different stiffeners. Or different firm structure that you're looking for.In this sellier bag, Talyn for main body parts for the firmest part, and bonded leather for the left. Try different thicknesses and hardness based on your preference.

@@fuyukazemi Thanks, dear. The retourne birkin inspired version of the beginner kit only has blue, brown and grey with silver hardware. Sorry no black or white. But the retourne version supporting bespoke color if you like?

Our pattern is different from the merchant that you bought from. But it’s our hobby to draw this pattern it’s not 100% same from the original.

Hello there, I would recommend: Outer leather & handle: 1.2mm; Inner leather: 0.8mm; Bottom/cover/feet tray leather:1.0mm; twist lock strap: 0.8mm; piping leather:0.5mm.

Is there an original bag like this? I can't find one with these stickers on the outside of the sides, only Kelly's looks like that but I like it!

No need to cut the pattern, you can use a divider to mark a line and punch holes.
I was very angry when you use a tiny stick to spread glue. Why didn't you use a large one bro.
