Love my hammock. I have the frontline and it's a good hammock. However, I recently bought the onewind hammock which is longer and wider. It now means my little sprocker dog can sleep in it with me. Hammocks are great. Can be used in any weather condition and ground conditions don't matter. On top of that totally comfortable. Of course always use an underquilt. Enjoy it my friend.
Cheers Buddy, yeh I do love hammocks, In the past I've used a sleep mat inside the hammock but it does tend to slide all over, that's why I thought that pocket underneath was a good idea, but been told that just the underquilt on its own works better as it traps warm air between it and the hammock ?? So we shall see 👍
Enjoyed that Mick. A hammock is something I've never tried. My woodland camping has always been done with a tent or tarp set up. I might give one a go at some point. BTW, you did look ever so graceful getting in and out of it. 😉
Ey up Mick ☺️ Happy Mew Year to you and the Mrs ✨ lovely to have the woodland so close to home. I always like watching these hammock vids even though I do t have one. Never say never 😂warm wishes , Sarah
Hiya Sarah hope you had a good one 👍 it is nice just some bits can get over run by drunken kids, I've been trying to get up onto the moors, I've been going up and trying to walk a mile or so up hills, it's very very slow for me with lots of breaks, and that's without a pack on, but I'm determined to get there, oh I watched your latest vid and loved it, also watched pat's vid, made me laugh properly when he was saying, now Sarah it's my turn to talk 🤣🤣👌👍
Can't go wrong with a DD hammock although since I tried the nightcat hammocks I can never go back 😂😂 also I would recommend using an underquilt rather than the pad pocket. The pad tends to shift around through the night,or at least it did with me
Cheers Ste, yeh I'd heard that about the pad in the pocket, plus people say the underquilt is better on its own anyway as it traps air that then warms up 👍
To right Jason, my cova cure hammock was only 20 quid when I got it, and it's a brilliant hammock, just the bug net can be a bit annoying at times, and I also wanted a hammock that had the sleep mat pocket underneath 😀
That's good Jason, I was thinking it was gonna be like just a waterproof over jacket for the price, didn't really expect much so was really surprised when it arrived, really can't fall off for the price, what colour did you go for ?
@@Mickoutdoors I got the moss green, it's a really nice, dark shade of green. I've been back and bought a couple of t-shirts from them as well. Their customer service is excellent as well. I'd never heard of them so thanks for point them out for me .

@@Mickoutdoors happy to just see you, but love the share! I'm interested in the Ammok or whatever it's called the one that lays like a gravity swing? I watched Kent Outdoors do a trip once with that and it made me fall in love, lol hugs for all!
@@Mickoutdoors i got one for a little above 70 Euros a while ago from Amazon. it's a quite short Hammock, but it is wide enough for me. i'm about 190 meters in hight and i can sleep pretty good in the Frontline, relatively diagonal as well. no damages yet and the zippers still work fine. the fabric feels like actual fabric rather than nylon like other cheap hammocks, so it's good qualitly i must say. recently, i got a snugpack hammock under blanket for it, both fit well together. the snugpak is in the same price range, but it is a little longer and wider than DD's under blanket, so i chosed this one.
@mske2279 that's reassuring to know, I have seen others who have them and all reports are good 👍 must admit the tarp is the best quality I've ever seen 👌
