your're more than welcome, have a fantastic week!!! 👍
i have a question, what if the video have beauty mode on, what is the fastest way to get them with the filter on? i tried with micro sd removed it doesnt include the filter..
for glamor effects, i think they need to be rendered within the mimo app before you can export and save them externally.
do I need HEVC video extensions to play the video from dji osmo on pc?
I didn't on windows 11, plays through windows media player without issue. if your on an older version you may need to use something like VLC player, which is better anyway :)
im have issues seeing my files when connect to my phone or ipad via usb-c
Hey benny, common issues when connecting to ipads, I've heard of this before. Try plugging into your ipad first, turning on the pocket 3, then plugging it into the pocket 3 once thats turned on.
@@YoukayTV ok will do thanks so much. I think it was an issue with the brand of miss card
@AuthenticBenny i’ve heard this problem is very widespread and some apple devices aren’t even support at l via dji and the mimo app. Good luck bro!
Trying to download them from my phone, I recorded in 4k, but it only lets me export in 1080p
uhg, must be a filezsize issue or something, the 4k files get pretty big, did you save them to your camera roll from the mimo app, now trying to download them off your phone? depending what platform its saving the files too will determine what resolution/size you can download them, any chance you can usb connect the osmo directly to whatever your trying to download them onto? then you can just drag and drop the 4k files, skipping the mimo > phone > export step
@@YoukayTV i eventually got it to work with the cable! thank you for the help!
@@Midnight_M550 awesome! glad i could help!!!
If recording in d-log should I be changing the colours in playback or keep the footage in d-log when uploading
only record in dlog if you intend to do color correction / use luts in post production, otherwise, the standard color mode on the OP3 does a really great job!
@@YoukayTV yes, I have plans to colour correct/grade in ae + topaz so found out that keeping it in d-log 10 bit when uploading is the way to go, also thank you for showing me the usb-c function, much easier to transfer then over the phone, will be subbing! Thank you
awesome, glad to help and thanks so much for the sub! I fully intended to color grade when I got this camera, but everything I've shot so far with the standard color profile has looked super good to my eyes, I've seen some truly cinematic corrections and luts here on YT though, if you know what your doing in that regard you can make it look absurdly good!
How come when I try and transfer my videos to my phone via the mimo app, my files don’t show the thumbnail? I’m also not able to play the videos through the app. Have you ran into that problem at all?
Never ran into that issue, could be an app cache problem, not sure what is your phone is but try either clearing the mini app cache and restarting, or fully deleting the app and reinstalling, see if that fixes it, that would be my first guess, especially if thumbs aren’t generating
When I connect my Osmo OT110 to my MacBook via USB cable to transfer files, it appears the message "Charging. Remove smartphone adapter to connect to computer", but I don't have any smartphone adapter connected. What does it mean?
Honestly I have no idea, You may be using an older cable that doesn't do data transfer only charging, do you have a different cable to try?
If I save the videos directly to the mino app, do they save in high 4k resolution or just low resolution? Because I mean when I click it, I can see the videos in low res preview and download them easily… but I want to download to edit in mi iPad in 4k so… that’s my concern.
hi mauren, unfortunately the mimo only saves in 1080p, to get the 4k file you will need to plug in directly via usb and file transfer, or pull the sd card out and use a card reader for it
@@YoukayTV Thanks so much sir, I appreciate your quick response. 🤗
Is there a way to stranger files to external SD drive?
unfortunately not that I know of :(
Hi is it important which cable we used? It’s working for me just said charging 😬
if you use the included usb a to c cable that would be best, but pretty much any usb A to C should work fine, make sure you power on the OP3, then plug the cable in, otherwise it just defaults to charging mode.
@@YoukayTV thank you, quick questions. 1) how to remove watermark on my videos when i am transferring them via sd card
2) is it important to use usb c to c ? Because when I use normal usb port it only goes for charging
your videos shouldn't have any watermark when you transfer via USB, that only happens when you do it via the mimo app.
Any USB C to USB A/C will work, the usb C goes into the osmo, the usb A or C end goes into a pc. The process is plug the cable into the PC, flip the osmo on, plug the cable from the pc in to the osmo, select file transfer mode on the osmo within 5 seconds and your ready to drag and drop files
if its just charging after you plug the cable in, i would try a different cable and a different usb port on the pc, you'll know its working when you plug the cable in and the menu pops up on the osmo screen to do either file transfer mode or webcam mode
@@YoukayTV I did it with USB but still has water mark🥲
gotcha, so it must have been a file you edited on the mimo app, which saves to the osmo, and you've transferred that file over from the osmo.
You can turn the watermark off, if you go into the mimo app > privacy theres a toggle for it in there.
For the files that have the watermark currently, I dont think you can remove them, your only chance would be to be to find the original file you edited or saved via the mimo app pre watermark, if it exsists it will be in the dji folder when you plug it in, im not sure if the mimo creates a copy of the edited file, or edits the main file directly, i've never used it.
it takes forever to copy the files to pc, my pc has a good and fast ssd, my memory card is fast, do i need new cable?
Most likely! The bottle neck is around usb speed probably, so test your cable on a usb 3 port first if you have one. I get about 33mbs via my usb 3 port transfer
Does anyone know the read/write speeds when downloading to a PC
typically 20-30mb/s if using usb.
Thanks, I thought it would be much faster. Yes, those are the speeds Im getting as well.
On my Mac , it shows 3 files for the same media. Can I just transfer only videos or do I need to transfer all 3 files? I’m only asking because I have like over 2k videos and when I do try to transfer all, it gives me an error in the middle of transferring. I did try to transfer in lower increments but the error transfer still happens.
yes, you can just trasfer the .mp4's without the other same name things (audio backup etc) so do a view > file type and select all .mp4, then drag those :)
@@YoukayTV thank you!
@@wolo8107 anytime brother!
This didn’t work on iPad Pro 12. External not showing up.
sorry to hear this, I'm not sure on the direct connect via cable method for IOS, but you could do the Bluetooth / wifi way by installing the mimo app on the ipad and saving the footage to it that way
If I save the videos directly to the mino app, do they save in high 4k resolution or just low resolution? Because I mean when I click it, I can see the videos in low res preview and download them easily… but I want to download to edit in mi iPad in 4k so… that’s my concern. I don’t know if that makes sense, thanks for the video.
