@@genuine1783 For sure Vienna is expensive! Infact even Salzburg was expensive. Cafés like MCD are the best option if you want to save up money when eating outside in these cities! For hotels as we went in shoulder season we got a pretty decent rate! You could try booking in advance and you’ll definitely get some cheap options. Airbnbs were quite expensive when we researched!

Thank you! 1. It can be tricky at the beginning. Best to drive the car directly to countryside in open space as city driving can be difficult! 2. Vienna for sure and Hallstatt !

The order should depend on the ticket prices.. whichever city is the cheapest to fly into start your trip with that country and then look at the inter country train/flight options to decide the order!
You should focus on the Audio quality, cause in ear buds only left side in working for your voice, whereas all other sounds are perfect.. btw thanks for this much knowledge.

Hey! Thank you ☺️ 1. Trains are very comfortable and convenient. They have more than enough luggage storage and I feel easiest way to move from Vienna to Salzburg! 2. It’s completely safe. We walked around even during night and there were still people around and never once did we feel unsafe .

Hey! Sure you can do it. Spend few days in Vienna and then go to Salzburg. As our flight out of Austria was from Vienna we had to anyway go back. We did not visit Innsbruck. We preferred to spend more days in Austrian countryside ☺️ The places in Innsbruck didn’t really interest us that much so we skipped it
Hey! I have a DJI mini 2 drone which weighs less than 250gms so I didn’t need any permit. I think as long as your drone (above 250gms) is registered you don’t need any special permit to fly it in Austria.
Yes we didn’t have to show our IDP anywhere. But it is a good to have document and you might be asked to provide anytime while driving so best to carry it.
I have been to Finland for a week. It's also nice. You can plan 2 days in Helsinki, visit Lapland (Rovaniemi famous for santa claus village if you have children), go for 2 day cruise to Stockholm, Sweden

Hey! Austrian countryside can be similar to Switzerland but why don’t you visit Vienna? It’s a stunning city in terms of architecture and vibe. Would be different from your Switzerland experience !
It is actually the other way round, after Austria you don´t need Switzerland any more. It is not more beautiful than Austria, but twice as expensive. And you will not find cities like Innsbruck, Salzburg or Vienna in Switzerland.
1. We went during shoulder season which is an inexpensive time to travel. 2. Booked our tickets more than 3 months in advance 3. Using Google flights we picked the cities that were cheapest to fly into & out of Europe and accordingly planned our itinerary. In this case Vienna was cheapest to fly into and Ljubljana in Slovenia had cheapest return flights to Bangalore.

1L could be a little difficult as Austria is a little expensive. You can maybe manage if book on advance during off season and stay in hostels, take food from home etc
I appreciate your hard work but don't know where have you got your pricing from. As on 24th June 2024 return Flight in Sept- Oct 24 is no less than 1 Lac for two people. Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu in Salzberg u r talking about is no less than Rs. 19500/- per day for a couple, that too for the smallest size room. This is what I checked about till now. Will further check other things and update. No offence but how come your 2023 prices are so massively different from 2024, ma'am?
First of all we traveled in 2022 not 2023. We had booked our flights months in advance by constantly tracking Google flights. The hotel prices also may have gone up. I haven’t been to Europe in the last one year so I don’t know the current price situation. But I guarantee that I have seen Bangalore- Vienna tickets for October being close to 20-25k last month when checking for my friend. Maybe do some good research? We got expensive rental car bookings while applying for the Visa but then just one week before our trip we got super cheap rates so canceled our earlier booking and saved a lot! It all comes down to how much time you are spending on ‘actual’ research if saving money is what you really want 🙂 So I got my pricing from what we actually paid for the tickets. I am not a travel agent and neither am I advertising any ticketing page so clearly I won’t gain anything from misquoting the prices 🙂

How did you book a roundtrip flight per person at 40k?
1. We went during shoulder season which is an inexpensive time to travel.
2. Booked our tickets more than 3 months in advance
3. Using Google flights we picked the cities that were cheapest to fly into & out of Europe and accordingly planned our itinerary.
In this case Vienna was cheapest to fly into and Ljubljana in Slovenia had cheapest return flights to Bangalore.

1L could be a little difficult as Austria is a little expensive. You can maybe manage if book on advance during off season and stay in hostels, take food from home etc

Yeah.. we would eat at a MCD like place for one meal and then maybe a little more higher range place for the second meal

I appreciate your hard work but don't know where have you got your pricing from. As on 24th June 2024 return Flight in Sept- Oct 24 is no less than 1 Lac for two people. Hotel IMLAUER & Bräu in Salzberg u r talking about is no less than Rs. 19500/- per day for a couple, that too for the smallest size room. This is what I checked about till now. Will further check other things and update. No offence but how come your 2023 prices are so massively different from 2024, ma'am?
First of all we traveled in 2022 not 2023. We had booked our flights months in advance by constantly tracking Google flights. The hotel prices also may have gone up. I haven’t been to Europe in the last one year so I don’t know the current price situation.
But I guarantee that I have seen Bangalore- Vienna tickets for October being close to 20-25k last month when checking for my friend. Maybe do some good research?
We got expensive rental car bookings while applying for the Visa but then just one week before our trip we got super cheap rates so canceled our earlier booking and saved a lot! It all comes down to how much time you are spending on ‘actual’ research if saving money is what you really want 🙂
So I got my pricing from what we actually paid for the tickets. I am not a travel agent and neither am I advertising any ticketing page so clearly I won’t gain anything from misquoting the prices 🙂
