Best buddies, Eddie was devastated when Chris died, he was in a different country. Eddie was Howard Stern and talked about it and said still he's not handling well!! Everyone handles grieve in different ways. When Eddie was performing in a different country he got on stage and sang Black and Come Back and he was weeping for his best friend. 😢

I will always remember when I froze because I recognized the opening of "Missing" when they played Safeco in 2018. It was such a beautiful obscure song of Chris's and it was the PERFECT tribute. When Ed's vocals broke at the end it was like everyone who had a little grief in the hearts got to let it out too for a bit. Just gorgeous.

Eddie and Chris had such a genuine bond; heartfelt love for music and life. It was truly a once in a lifetime kind of friendship and family. The way they look at each other and wait for the next vocals in any performance, on any video or concert… Not trying to “Outshine” each other. That my friends, is genuine friendship and love.
Eddie has to be, even now, in so much pain.

Chris had said in an interview that initially he had asked Stone to move in with him, at the time he was with his parents,(Stone) but Chris said, he said no, so he then offer it to his friend Andy, who was in the same band as him. There was another interview when they were all on tour, and you could just see the uncomfortableness, with him, and even then he said something crazy to Chris in that interview.
