    Best Stretches For Flexibility - Ask The Tapps
    In this video we answer the question from Caleb, "What are the best stretches for flexibility?"
    Many of us believe we have to hold static stretches for minutes on minutes to get the flexibility gains we want. But from my research, my clients experiences, and my own personal experiences, this is just not the case.
    In this video we share with you some of the best stretching styles for getting flexible and one of our favorite simple stretching routines you can use.
    Train safe,
    Thomas

    I really love how precise and detailed your explanations of each movement are. And thank you so much for showing how to do them without equipment or going to the gym. :-))) You guys rock compared to other channels. Re flexibility, my understanding is that it is not just the muscles but also the tendons, ligaments and fascia. Eagerly awaiting your next video! :-)))

    I'm an old woman, but I just like to watch these kids. They're very cute and it's fun to watch them gamboling through the city like a couple of spring lambs--sometimes with my heart in my mouth and praying for their parents. Kids just don't play outside anymore. They sit around with devices instead. Perhaps these boys could speak in schools, sharing their joy of movement.

    I'm gonna try this out ! Iv'e starting to stretch again but don't really know if i'm doing it right. It feels like my muscles getting stretched out but at the same time i don't really feel any stronger or build more muscles. I feel more like a gelly fish. if you know what i mean ! I started for about 2-3 week ago. Before that, i'm riding horses couple of times a week (still do).

    i cant express how important stretch is. i used to do parkour back in 2010 and i stopped. i recently started back up yesterday. i went from stride to cat leap and pulled a stomache muscle. im now finding it difficult to sit up from laying down without pain. of course it will pass soon but its not the point stretching is important

    Hey guys I'm 16 and 6''1'. I'm pretty flexible but I have a large issue with lower back pain. Know any stretches to help me out? Thanks!

    • @TheLowLifeArtist
      @TheLowLifeArtist 8 років тому

      +Eli Mead Lower back pain is often associated with poor core strength. Planking is often the prescribed exercise. Also making sure that when you're doing anything active, try to keep a neutral spine, especially when lifting things, lift with your legs. If you're currently inactive, try adding some exercise to your daily routine. Lower back pain should not come about due to flexibility issues, so if you decide to try any of the above solutions and it still persists or worsens then talk to your doctor. Also, take my advice with a grain of salt, after all I'm just some anonymous guy on the internet.

    • @fanushkah
      @fanushkah 8 років тому

      RaptorKnight I like to think that I have pretty good core strength but then again that is relative to what I am used to. Thanks for the info, I will start incorporating planking into my workout

    • @HushGxmes

      It might be because you arent keeping a straight back when bending down like dead lifts or just picking stuff up like instead of bending your back bend your knees and keep a straight back not only will this solve the problem but is like yoga and squats

    yo taps how do you improve balance

    • @MichaelMegaChannel12
      @MichaelMegaChannel12 8 років тому

      +HyperHacksGaming Just train it as frequently as possible. Start on flat ground stepping one foot after the other in line. Then try with curbs, thin walls. Then big rails, progressing towards the smaller and smaller. Of course first start at the lowest heights possible. Train balancing on one leg, using other as a lever. Only put next step when in balance. Train walking forward and backwards, also standing perpendicular to possition when walking. Unless you feel really confident train on such low rails that when your feet slip you do not hit your balls. And you really need to relax, no point in hurrying up, it will only make it harder. Stay safe and train ;)

The doctor said I must stay 1 week and maybe little more (like 2-3 days), but I don't want to lose form or.. days of training.. and I am scared if I lose my skills.. Is it possible to lose your motivation? Because I am scared of that too :/ .. Please help me - What should I do..
