warning !!!!!!!! the jets are not all the same the two center ones run richer to help cool the cylinders do not mix them up or at least make sure the bigger jets are in cylinder 2 and 3.
@@Gkitchens1 I bought an aftermarket jet kit for my F2 and the jet sizes were different for two of the carbs. They were not the stock jet sizes included in the aftermarket jet kit.
This is cleaning of fuel chambers only. There is lots more to do. Choke, pilot screws, rubber membranes, slides and more. Float level is not adjustable in this model. One thing less to sorry about. Waiting for part 2.
Muriatic/hydrochloric acid (aka brick acid) is superb for carb cleaning. It cannot harm brass but can dissolve aluminium castings so experiment with diluted acid.
hey buddy quick question I have the exact same bike I like the video a lot it's been super helpful my question is how did you reinstall the carbs back on the bike?
Do you mean the boots are giving you grief? If so I’ve always carefully heated them with a heat gun, but have also seen people soak them in hot water to make them more flexible.
Should NOT soak the needles....although the wimpy 'new' Berryman's probably isn't corrosive enough to hurt them. Still, why take chances? You can see if the needle needs attention just by looking.
If I may also still answer, if the carb is setup fine, check if it sparks normal. A weakspark will not ignite the fuelmixture on high revs. And the second thing to check is the valves, it needs correct timing. And ofcourse cilinders needs correct compression.
Super helpful video dude. Quick question though, did you have any issues soaking the float needle? I've read that the little rubber tip can get messed up soaking in carb cleaners.

Thanx
Rebuild kits all come with the same size jets...
This is the first I've heard of it and the manual makes no mention of it, are you sure someone didn't rejet two of your carbs??

I wonder does soaking damage the rubber part of float valve ?

Can you help me to set up the rigth height on the floats that's the only thing I need to know thanks

Hey! Great video. Anyone knows which is the meassure of the valves float? Thanks a lot for everybody

Good info. No issues on my end however.
I have a cbr600f3 and all the jets are clear and it will not rev up it just dies???
Are the boots all tight and in good condition. It may be an intake leak.
Is there a fuel filter on it? (clagged up maybe...)
Bad fuel pump?
Choke not adjusted properly..

No issues jus yet. I've heard that also but mainly when it comes to using carb cleaner itself. I haven't had any issues when using the chem dip.
@@wrenchandtinker6135 did you ever make a part 2 or did this fix your issue?
Allways renew the float valves they maybe look ok but they give trouble
Hey thanks man
