Looking at the pictures I had actually forgotten just how poverty stricken the place was. I packed in my apprenticeship, packed my suitcase and left, never to return. I can say with all honesty, I have never regretted it once.
No we were paid to leave...I WAS JUST A YOUNG LAD..And I found a new way to live life,without hate...Back then I was trigger happy...And I still hate the British to this very day...But now the world has changed..And indeed..Belfast is beautiful once again..The Brits will fall flat on their face as they join America in the so called fight for Democracy in Iraq,and Afg,,Hang in there...The Brits will be broke soon..And Sinn Feinn has already seen this...Do you want peace?.
