@@bernattajackson8600 that's how it used to be but Cali got rid of institutions for such in the early 2000s, it's sad because there was a place they got treatment and officers didn't have to spend time getting them off the street and could focus on other things. But this is where society has gone, it was too inhumane to keep them in facilities where they could get therapy and treatment instead of being homeless, yea some were found to be unorthodox, but most were operating as they should
God bless America, may we all find our way. Sacramento is my city and I have been that guy :( as a matter of fact. The trash yielded some women's shirts . A black guy leaving for work stopped went back inside and gave me a pair of pants to replace the rotten sheet I found along the freeway . A nice family I know gave me a belt. Luckily I was always coherent. Nakedness can and will happen at your lowest. If you can relate to someone it makes it easier to help.
eat more vegetables? hope that wasn't a joke this is sad and not the person's fault ..mental illness isn't anyone's fault and there needs to be better help, better attitudes.. obviously they don't know what they are doing nc chemicals are off balance, no sleep adds to it, helplessness and hopelessness adds to it.. no meds add to it ..the list goes on :(
This is unacceptable. Funding for residential treatment/ housing centers for these poor homeless/ mentally ill citizens should be immediately provided for by every state and city with homeless populations. Maybe start with a tax/ fee on home sales, construction and business licenses etc. We know they will say they provide a portion of new construction as " affordable" housing but does this guy look like he'd qualify??? It's a no brainer to build, build and " beautify" a neighborhood yet, wilfully neglect and not serve these needy people already living there. Point' California used to have such places for them to be cared for. What happened?
what really bothers me is these types of people and others suffering from addictions like drugs and alcohol are put on video and made out to be a joke like in a meme or short video. scammers are selling this type of content and the scam addicts are taking hit after hit making these scammers rich all while belittling these people. those of you clicking and sharing this type of content are contributors to sending a message to our youth that it is acceptable behavior to make fun of or make jokes about mental illness or addiction. oh and this uploader is one of those scammers, kick the addiction folks no side effects no withdrawal symptoms just stop clicking.
We should do what they did in the 50's and 60's. Allow more involuntary commitments and build mental health institutions. If people were abused in those institutions, they should have just fixed them, not send people to the streets.
So sad….to think this was someone’s innocent baby…and this is where he is in life ….breaks my heart
Build a facility for people who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses in their lifetime to prevent them from having to take their to jail.

Hello Lance
Mental health and homelessness go hand in hand but as long as they do not seek treatment nothing you can do
We should do what they did in the 50's and 60's. Allow more involuntary commitments and build mental health institutions. If people were abused in those institutions, they should have just fixed them, not send people to the streets.
OMG!!!
If the government would stop stealing the funds for this vulnerable group there wouldnt be a problem.
24 B lost for this so far, correct?
Code Brown yes
I don’t agree
