    Hey buenas .. muy buen video ... el mejor arreglo es bajarlo e inspeccionar el cilindro puede haber una posibilidad que solo sea anillos rotos , ya que a un amigo le pasó acá en Dubai... Saludos

    If you changed the spark plugs and ignition coils and you get a misfire on certain cylinders it is your high pressure fuel pump. I just did mine today and the drivetrain malfunction went away. Make sure to read which bank had the misfire (bank 1 or bank 2)

    The vacuum pump is bad. The tapping sound when you opened the oil cap.

      So I know this is a long shot and the comment was 2 years ago , but I have 06 ,750li and it's having a missfire on 1 and 2 cylinders , and I noticed that taping sound when I removed the oil cap , can you explain to me a bit more about the vac pump ?

    Hi I have a question to you. I check my rail pressure on n63b44 by Ista, And when I turn off the engine pressure on bank 1 is 49000 hPa and on bank 2 also 49000 hPa. BUT when we wait for a while about 30 seconds or 1 minutes we see that. Pressure on Bank 1 is little lower abour 48700 hPa and on bank 2 more lower about 32000 hPa and still goes down. After a one hour or two hour on bank 1 and bank 2 pressure is almost on down like 880 hPa. This is ok ? Or I should check something or replace ? I have injector index 12 in engine. I have no issue about power, there is no any errors by DME but sometimes I need a 2-3 seconds to turn on the engine and sometimes I need only 1 seconds. I do not its normal. Also I change a vacum lines because My engine smokes sometimes and now its really good and check sparks plugs and coils. Old sparks plugs are white/grey colour and are dry.

    About to by an X5 with n63. A lot of bad wrap online. What is your opinion with regards to reliability? Guess my biggest fear would be valve stem seals. Please keep up the great vids

      If you planning to but a X5 and don't have that many issues, your best option is to buy a 2013 and X5. The is engine is better.

      @@IEEuros Hope I will be ok. Bought a 2011 with 66,000kms. Checked through the car and service history carefully and I get a 20,000km warranty. My e46 will still be my daily driver with this the family car for holidays and doing outings. In Europe the engine covers turned from grey to black in 2011 and it seems here they have less of an issue, I hope. Anyway will follow the channel

      @Art Johnson haha hope not. Already did 10,000km in the car and what a wonderful car. It uses 1lt of oil per 5000kms which is fine for me and some of those km were with a heavy load and high temps. I do get a chirr chir sound that sounds like a pulley on cold start but gone as soon as engine is heated up 10mins later

      @Art Johnson They actually dont have the ccp in Switzerland and for some reason we have way less problems that the US market which I can never understand. It has an extended warranty until May next year. Planning to take it in as soon as my e46 330 is finished(waiting on parts as my alternator and starter gave in, in the same week so standing in my garage in pieces)

    so i had this same problem on my bmw 2013 650i xdrive 2dr convertible. turned out to be the fuel pump went bad. All cylinders were showing misfires. Replaced the fuel pump and the car was back to normal.

      i sold the car in aug of 2021 and switched to an M3 2018. The 650i car had the same problem on and off it was a hpfp constantly, i probably went through 5 of the same pumps while having the car.

    HELP lol… I have 2012 BMW 550 XI.. Orig. motor Failed, Purchased Used 65 k mile Engine N63. Payed for install labor and mech. Stated motor out of timing.. Diag. Ran stated both cam shafts out of timing , intake both banks out of timing, timing chain test plan fail due to cam timing off, scoped cam shaft sensor square wave out of spec, Do you think this motor needs an actual TIMING CHAIN REPLACEMENT? Mech said motor looks good.. sounded good. But failed on timing.. and won’t run suggest. Not to run and needs major timing chain replacement.. since then have had vehicle parked with no idea what to do.. PLEASE HELP , what other issues can cause this? Could it be just sensors?? And what type if so?? MECH stated timing chain job.. major labor.. removal of motor AGAIN… smh.. what do u think I should do ? THANK U

    I am having an issue with my BMW also I changed all plugs coils and Injectors an I’m still getting a number five misfire then I changed O2 sensors also and every time I swap plug on number 5 it’s black like it’s dumping to much fuel I changed Ecu and still number 5 misfire we pulled MAF sensors and nothing thought it may have been the catalyst converter so I put catless downpipes on it to still misfire number 5 and my compression is good I’m doing process of illumination and idk what’s going on any help anyone

      Get a scanner, if you get a low fuel pressure code along with missfire then it could be a multitude of things. I changed my HPFP and LPFP and the fuel pressure sensor and I am still getting a number 4 cylinder missfire with my cylinder pressure being at 175 steady. Still I'm going to change the pcv valve and pray it fixes it? Idk what else to do with mine it's literally been sitting in my driveway collecting dust for almost 2 months now.

      I have the same engine with misfire on cylinder 4 but some times happened some time not if I accelerate fast the misfire happened and some time even not happen.
      I noticed from your video that the HPFP have approximately 100 bar at ideal.
      At my car the HPFP showing 50 bar on ideal.
      What is the correct reading?
