Nice cellar! What l most like about it, is that you have beautiful wines, but still they are not the ones that ruin your bank account...in other words, you spend the right amount for great wines!! I’m a big fan of Orin Swift, that bottle of Papillon laying in the shelf simply watered my mouth!

It's interesting how people's tastes vary. My cellar or 540 bottles is heavily weighted to Bordeaux and Burgundy, with some Barolo, OR Pinot Noir, Sauternes and German wines. I have very little CA wine, as I find most of them heavy and overly alcoholic. I have a friend with 2000 bottles, and he has no Pinot Noir, even though we live in Oregon.
Very cool video and very nice cellar. Some very nice wines you have. Can't go wrong with the Austin Hope Cabernet. Been to the winery a few times myself. Love the wines out of my favorite region...Paso Robles. Oh yeah...I subscribed. Salud!!

Chris G 18 In Paso cab is more acidic than the previous years and a little on the over ripe side. I can see where you are going with the concentrate fruits. We usually buy about 4-5 bottles every year drink the rest and age two. Stain ur teeth purple wines. Just love it.
Outstanding cellar and collection. Great video. I have several aged bottles of wine & plan on opening this year. All have been kept in my wine fridge. I wanted your opinion if they have a chance of being a good old red wine or did I wait too long: Opus One 1999 , Insignia 1997 & 2000, Pavillon Rouge Chateau Margaux 2000. Thank you!
All excellent bottles and vintages. All will be very good. The 97 Insignia was the best vintage ever! But all should be opened this year or next, or sold in auction.
I have a 500 bottle cellar, but took time to build to ensure the right temp and humidity controls were in place. If I missed in the video, you should perhaps look to see how you can better control the environment especially for storage. If you want some additional napa wines then consider Dominus 2016 and Opus One 2017, both have just had bottles released and just now is a good time to buy.

There is not a lot of supply available, but after searching for a while I managed to find 12 bottles for almost the same price you paid. But this was not easy... it is already starting to increase...
Great Video , FYI you should cover any light coming into your cellar , maybe I suggest a window tint with colorful design . Home Depot sells nice patterns. You have a great collection and it should be protected especially if you aging. Love from Howey in the Hills Fl
I'm curious if this huge collection is just sitting in the same temperature of you house?? I don't see a door on the cellar to allow for temperature control and if that's the case all of your wine will become cooked and be undrinkable

Clearly has way more money than knowledge! KJ is his ‘ go to bread and butter ‘ Chardonnay? And the man does not know it is LaRkmead, not Lackmead... zero credibility, reinforced by the fact that he allows a Total Wine person to recommend him wines, does he not know how that chain operates with ‘exclusives’ that are just very high GP wines for the store? You can often buy way better for way less by not buying the Winery Select wines at Total, their own brands....
I’ve tried many Chards costing 2 - 3x the price of KJ Chard that were not nearly as good. Fact that it’s readily available for about $12 in supermarkets does not deter me at all.

Anything Alsace, left and right bank Bordeaux, 1 CDP is a crime, Sauternes, Colheita (non negotiable for me if you're going to have a cellar, I have Colheita's going back to 1966). Chablis for whites, a few Burgundy's-generally overpriced-there are some Willamettes that perform just as well. I'm not versed in Italians but Mt. Etna is a must.
If there ever was an Americano wine collection, this is definitely it. Most of the great wine making regions in the world are completely missing but hey whatever floats your boat.
Lorenzzo Klein Not a big French wine fan. The good ones are too expensive and the not so expensive ones are not that good. Probably have some 60 Bordeaux’s and a few Burgundies. My favorite are Chateau Neuf du Pape and I have a pretty god selection of them.

@@decantswithd Not really, someones 99 point wine is another mans 85. You essentially create a cellar according to another mans taste and influences/biases.
All of these wines are what I call "big swinging dick wines". Personally I would get bored if I only drank heavy wines like these. There is a whole world of interesting light to medium body reds that are interesting- eg, Beaujolais, Etna Rosso, Jura etc. Also only chardonnay for whites. I guess that's ok if you love oak. Maybe try Sancerre, Muscadet, Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Chenin Blanc. This is a really uninspiring wine selection with all the obvious iconic choices. I suggest you broaden you lens.

Also Master Somm DLynn Proctor of Fantesca Winery. I could list a ton of very accomplished individuals in the wine industry who aren’t your age and closer to mine. It has to do with who and what you surround yourself with. I lived in Napa on a 500 acre vineyard and am close friends with some of the most respected names in that industry. I’m telling you, you are missing a ton of insane wines that are much more collectible, made in much smaller case productions that could blow most of that stuff away. I could list a ton but it’s just too much to write out on a UA-cam comment. If you’d like to know a list I can always email you. A few examples, Aperture, Devils Proof, Stonestreet, Vérité, Casa Pieña, kapcsandy, Arcudi, Sullivan, Pulido Walker, Relic, Fantesca All Great Things, Fantesca King Richard Pinot, Peter Micheal Chardonnays, 7&8s, Paolo Bea Sagratino.... That’s just a few.
