Such a sweet video. Remember a messy house means you have babies at home. As an empty nester, I miss the mess-clean means the babies are grown --. I’m recovering from ankle surgery and I just long to be taking care of my house. Housework is a joy -it means I’m much better
Congratulations on a great job decorating. Your channel is different from the rest of the vloggers - not the same old hum drum where everyone's home looks the same. It is inspiring. Keep up the good work. I am eagerly looking forward to your next video. Happy holidays!
I owned a gift store in a mall for 20 years so more is more and less is a bore. So I have a tree in the living room, that I made a woodsy look, a whimsical one in the kitchen all food themed, one in the office with all glass ornaments and a kid tree with ornaments they made when they were little. The kid tree , 4 kids all grown with 4 grandkids now is very special to me and its interesting how they always check to see how it looks and how I decorate it each year. Your tree is very unique and I love that you like to have one that you make your own each year.
Especially love the garland, amber glass ornaments, and the pine cones with the fairy lights in your faux fireplace. Overall, you made a beautiful victorian- style Christmas.
I have five trees. The tree in our formal dining room is my nostalgia tree. We have four children who are all grown with families of their own. The theme for this tree includes all of the homemade, school and Sunday school crafts they made through the years. Now I am adding our grandchildren contributions. So fun.
I love vintage moody is back on trend. I could redecorate using what I already have. It has so much character and interest. I absolutely love this period of time
Love your style....PERIOD!...it's mine also....what charm, solid from days of old....simple but what a statement ..I'll never get old, even though it is LOL...
I am so glad to hear you say this living room tree is for you.... but the kids have their own trees. My son is now 50 and I had a tree in his room every year while he was growing up. I decorated it for whatever was going on in his life at the time... little league.. Star Wars, airplanes.. all his little phases. He still remembers that. I love everything in your moody room. I am definitely going to try those ginger ink ornaments.. gorgeous!!! The entire room is cozy, tranquil and peaceful.
I mistakenly read your title as "My moody Victorian Christmas" -- but watching the reveal I see that isn't too far off! The prints of the mustachioed gentleman and the fox give off that vibe, amid a richly layered finish.
Absolutely gorgeous! The moody Victorian Christmas theme and the brilliant music is perfect. This is beautiful without being commercial tacky. It looks natural even though faux foliage was used. Best thing is you can gets years of use out of your Christmas decor. ❤🤗🇨🇦
Your ornaments you diy are amazing. I Thea a tree in my livingroom, sunroom and one with only lights in my dinning room and small trees in the three bedrooms.lovely
Ugh I love your style so much. Your decorate with me have been my favourite so far this year. The calming music, the aesthetic, DIYs; it's all so perfect!:)
We have 12 trees. I am old and want to blow it out for my children and grandchildren. We have five bedrooms and six bathrooms and there are trees everywhere. I love your style.
You are very creative and your style is so different from of utube channels. Your Christmas decor is very nice. Really beautiful what you did. Very different but beautiful. Thanks for sharing!!
I must say, brava!! I stumbled across your channel and have been hooked ever since. I appreciate that you are honest about who you are and not ashamed to say "I have a dark soul and proud". You inspire me to be me. I love that I have found someone as into thrifting and into the odd and old world as I am! Stay true to yourself and we shall follow :) Thank you for all you do
I love how much attention to detail you pay! Even the art on the wall gets to be a part of the season. So warm and cozy! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
I love your design aesthetic! I like the more simple natural Christmas that you have done here. I really like that you couldn’t find what the vision in your head was, and that says to me that you have your own design ideas and won’t be doing the trendy things. Yay! So elegant and pretty. You can still see a tree. So many people seem to overdo it with Christmas decor on every surface, and so much on a tree, that you can’t tell it’s even a tree. I’ve just found you today, and I’ve subscribed. Oh, also loved the music, the videography was top notch, and I can’t wait to see more of you and your beautiful home! That mirror that you out the fern wreath on is stunning. Simply stunning! Merry Christmas and greetings from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
I just love your moody vintage style and the way you style things gives me so much inspiration! Thank you for sharing all of it with us! I just love it!
Beautiful! I just recently found your channel, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love the idea of filling the faux fireplace with pine cones and lights"
Absolutely stunning! Yes, we have multiple trees. One is a gold colored metal tree that I use all year with different ornaments. When our kids were little they each had a small tree in their room. They could decorate with their handmade ornaments. That allowed us to have a more aesthetically pleasing tree in the living room. Your style has that nostalgic “old world” charm that makes Christmas so special. Thank you for sharing with us!
Really beautiful! Also your hair is lovely with the ribbon. Thx for the inspirations! Excellent dark academia vibe!!! So glad to find your channel. Thank you.
Commenting on the amount of trees, I only have one main one, you can see it from the street, when you enter my home, and it has all the ornaments I have gotten over the years, and yes, even the precious ones my children made 30 some years ago ! It still keeps the 1890's look I love. I would love to have one in the kitchen and bedrooms, but with a 1400 square foot home, not possible. I love your creativity !
Finally a home decor content creator I actually resonate with. I have a hard time finding Inspo avenues on the internet for home decor when I have a vision in my mind that aligns with my style. This is so me! Love
Gotta say, I love this unconventional Christmas look. You nailed the amber ornaments. And I 🖤 their companion. Maybe next year, you can photograph Luke in a moody pose and add him to the other two foxes on the wall. I know you protect J-Man, but I’d love to see his reaction to the trees at night. Magical. And wondering *how many times you cussed* setting up the pinecones in the fireplace, which came out gorgeous as did the piano, and the mantle…and I love the artwork on your tv frame. You continue to impress and delight me Mrs Meeker 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you Cheryl! Luke would be a nice addition! Haha. Jameson loves all the lights, he changes them to colored most days. Haha. I have clips of those pinecones falling out and me having to repack them all in. 🙄😆
❤love the vintage look . What an amazing job. I will keep you in mind when I do my Christmas decorations. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas with us
As usual, your decor is so pretty and well done. When I lived in a bigger home, we had two trees; one in the living room and the other in my daughter's room. The one in the living room was the one I'd decorate, and the one in my daughter's room was hers to decorate freely as she liked. She decorated hers with multi colored lights, hello kitty ornaments, and multi colored bulbs. Since moving to a smaller place, I would alternate alternate decor with her so every other year we decorate with my favorite decorations and the other years we decorate with hers. She's gotten older and really likes that traditional red and gold decor, so that's what I put up for her. My favorite decorations that we have are in shades of purples, golds, and pinks and has a bit of a boho and Moroccan vibe to it.
My daughter has 5 trees and I have 2. I only live in a 1 bedroom apt. Love your decorating skills and have been taking note of every detail. I think the details are what makes the elegance and ambience. You've taught me so much! Thank you Krista❤
I don’t know where I have been, but I just love your designs and the quality of your video. It is a beautiful snowy day and I’m going to be binge watching them all today.
I have three trees in my house. A formal decorated tree in the main living room that you can see from outside, and matches the rest of the main floor decorations. Then we have a traditional family tree in the 'family room' decorated with ornaments collected from family vacations, heirlooms passed down from my grandparents and great-grandparents, ornaments I made before I was married and ones that my kids have made in elementary school. We also have a third tree which is decorated with musical-themed ornaments that my husband received from his music students.
We have a family tree in the family room with all the child-memory ornaments and homemade ones. The other rooms in the house have trees I decorate to go with the room. LR, DR, Kitchen, Entryway, bedroom, The kids room has trees that thy have carte blanch with. Your decorations are absolutely beautiful!
I love the prints you framed. You know that you can paint brush strokes here and there mimicking what the artist would have done with gel medium and give them the look of a real painting. I also liked what you did with the ornaments. Unique.
Very very very nice. I love all of it. I did not think I would love the black ornaments, I do, but the liquid inked ones are stunning. Always watch your videos as soon as you post. Thank you for the picture frames and print tips. We only do a family tree as that is all there is room for.
I have two trees that are traditional and full of sentimental items. One in the family room and one in the living room. The rest of the trees are table top trees where I decorate according to each room in the house. The table top trees are still 5 ft and above so there is plenty of room to play with. Homemade Christmas ornaments are the best. The ones you created are so wonderful.
When i was younger and the kids were home, I had 7 trees. One in every main room of the house. All were different sizes and shape, and each had a different theme. The one in the living room was always the family tree and it changed every year, then there were bird trees, angel trees, kitchen trees, music trees, etc.
Oh, love moody colors all year round, so really was inspired! Incidentally, we’ve always had a real tree and I think it’s easier than a fake. No branch fluffing needed. But it IS pricey.
You have a beautiful home. I had artificial Christmas tree's growing up. When I married my husband insisted on a real tree because they never had a fake tree growing up. It really is a lot less work to have a real tree. Just put it in the stand, snip the twine that they tie it up with and that's it, just water and add your decorations. I can't even imagine having to put the tree together from a box. The smell of a real tree is amazing and it fills the house with pine for weeks and weeks. Happy Holiday's to you and yours.

I may minimize my decorations this year. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my husband helps with everything . He is a Prince Charming and my jewel 👑

Maybe some tall candlesticks on the piano to draw the eye up.
That portrait of the man is spectacular. I wish I could find it
He’s one of my favorites! I have him linked in the description box, it’s a digital download you can have printed.
@@KrystaMeeker ❤️ thanks

stunning and romantic. Old world charm at it's best. Thank you for sharing. Nancy, Leland N.C.
It looks very good and, in my opionion, much better than the modern, shiny stuff.
Beautifully done! So classy 🎄
