Do you mean prefix? Prefixes and suffixes are quite confusing. For simple conversation, you can stick to the base verb such as makan, minum, pesan, etc.

"Mohon" is not used for begging. It's a polite form of please. It's mostly used in formal public announcements.
For example:
Para penumpang pesawat Garuda dimohon untuk segera memasuki pesawat (meaning passengers are requested to board the plane). They are not begging but requesting.

Mohon = use it to ask for forgiveness

You can say "Kumohon/Aku mohon" ONLY in informal situations to say please.
Usually, we use the word at the beginning of the sentence or the end of the sentence
Example 1:
Please, forgive me!
"Kumohon,maafkanlah aku!"
(You can say "maafkan" (without "lah"))
Example 2:
"Can you lend me your eraser, please?"
"Apakah kamu bisa meminjamkan penghapusmu,kumohon?"
(You can change "Apakah kamu bisa...." to "Bisakah kamu...." for informal situations)
For formal situations, use "Saya mohon"
Same Example 1:
"Please, forgive me!"
"Saya mohon,maafkanlah saya."
Same Example 2:
"Can you lend me your eraser, please?"
"Apakah Anda bisa meminjamkan penghapus Anda,saya mohon?"
