Hieronymus Bosch's Brutal Orchestra is a Turn-Based Roguelike Strategy game with resource management and deck-building elements. Employ the help of damaged and daring fools, equip ancient and insidious items and make deals with the devil on your path to revenge. - Ігри
0:54 it's back
this game is criminally underrated, it's honestly sick
as somebody who recently played through this game and is currently 100%ing it what a fucking gem, im so used to the turn based genre being a boring slog to play through and this was such a breath of fresh air, i know im very late to this game. But i think more games need to look to this game as a shining example of amazing indie talent and creativity
This looks sick. Always been a fan of your art style
This is what the legend of bumbo wanted to be.
Woah! I didn't expect for this project to release so soon. Excited to play it!
this trailer does NOT do justice to the quality of the gameplay of this game, its genuinely so good i love it im so glad i bought it
We will likely do another trailer in the future for Brutal Orchestra, what parts of the games do you think would better capture what makes Brutal Orchestra worth playing to you. (This question is open to anyone reading this)
@@TaliabobMair Honestly, for me the game is all about the gameplay, how it needs you to think and environment (music, art and designs) while playing the game!
The trailer _(and by extension the intro cutscene)_ does a good job with showing the story of the game already while also misleading the player to trick them later, especially with the format of cutting from the story to gameplay to story. The art speaks for itself being on full display with the attack animations and everything. I think you could show atleast a little bit of the the hard mode fights using one fight with the In His/Her Images for anyone that thinks the fake ending is the actual real ending.
I think the bosses help capture the intricacies of the gameplay a bit more, but I genuinely don't know how you'd be able to show most of it without using pure gameplay as a trailer.
You could use bosses that have attacks that get the strategy to their battles across faster than the others. Maybe show a regular Smoothskin turn after killing one statue (with a few statues left that have avoidable attacks) for the thinking part of the gameplay, whittling down Roids's turn using their overexert passive to make the boss less intimidating, and the Hickories using their burning passion ability to show that the boss *is* gonna be tough but is still managable. The music men part of the trailer do a good job at showcasing their gimmick. The jumbleguts can be used to show pigment being used to your advantage and disadvantage with overflow, but I don't know how you'd be able to show the effects of overflow properly and quickly without simply letting the pigment pop into the overflow window and letting the self damage text flash.
Totally forgot to promote this in my vidio about swallow the sea! But I have now, it is suggested at the end as one of the next vidios to watch.
My parents said they would 50/50 me on a pc, and i’m getting closer. Maybe i’ll get this game.
The OST rules, I can't wait to actually get to listen to it clearly. I don't own a computer and I don't have sufficient money so I can't play it but I already have some of the battle themes (most notably the one that usually plays with the giant orange cheese thing) stuck in my head just from watching playthroughs, heh.

This is a masterpiece. I'm recommanding this game to all my friends. Games such as this one make me even more sure that the future, innovation and creativity comes mostly from the Indie scene. It's sooo good. The artstyle, world and the soundtrack :^0 It's perfect. The drum & bass parts were so dope and then in the late game, the djent/heavy battle music were so on spot. This attention to detail must come from the true passion and love for your project. In a world of heartless, forgettable games, meant to only make money Brutal Orchestra is like a shiny little gem. This is all I wanted from the Legend of Bum-bo, that sadly didn't live up to my expectations. And you've even reinvented the boring and outdated JRPG fighting mechanic and made it so it's way more enjoyable and strategic. You're a genius, I'm looking forward to updates on the game/any future project that you'll be working on.
I’m going to kiss your heart on the mouth.

That sounded very heartfelt
... out of all games I ever played... I never felt any of them being as balanced and perfectly made as this one. This game... it's not just some roguelite, It's an experience, where there is no "luck". You can beat this game with no items, no upgrades. Which really speaks volumes I think. I don't know who will see this comment, but if you are some random person thinking of buying this game... please do. You won't regret this.
This game has excellent music and delightfully weird enemy design. And it somehow makes a turn-based battle system feel exciting and suspenseful, with every action mattering, rather than slow or sluggish like most other games seem to do.
An absolute joy to play. Good job making this masterpiece.
Bought this instantly. HILARIOUS dialogue and fun gameplay!
I just wanna say that among the many things I love about this game, it has the best sound design I've ever heard. Both in the OST and the sfx.
I love your artstyle man.
And damn, I already can spot some easter eggs, like the serpent from Swallow the Sea.
I also like how the gameplay looks like something between Lisa and Hylics- animated, jazzy moving enemies like in Hylics and the attack animations like in Lisa
Uuh boi, here we go hyping again!
Friend recommended me the game and it's absolutely incredible! Def recommending it to anyone who is on the fence about playing it.
my friend recommended me this game a few days ago. just reached hardmode.
this game is an absolute masterpiece man
Maan! The art stile and the type of game looks great.
Damn I thought it was gonna come out early next year
kinda can't believe it's going to release today, hyped af
One of the best games I’ve played in way too long.
I LOVE DEATH'S CHARACTER SO MUCH!!!
Love how their voices sound almost anime like
Perfection Personified 👌
0:54 wait, this worm looks insanely familiar
I dont remember name of the game but he looks like that worm who wanted to eat our character in game where you playing as "egg?" And eating everything that you find
Brutal Orchestra has a lot of crossover content with Swallow the Sea as they are tangentially connected lore-wise, (also its just fun to reference my other games).
It has the monster from Swallow The Sea. Amazing!!
got this game yesterday and it's simply S tier. Commenting for an algorithm boost.
I really love playing this game it has so much replayability in it and the art is also beatiful it makes the game so much better i just hope there will be even more content that will be added soon enough
This looks great. Based on Bosch's work, that's a buy from me!
Cooperate with me, and I will ensure you exact brutal revenge… the moment he arrives!
This game is great. I really hope it gains more popularity.
Can't wait to check it out!
0:15 0:54 this is giving me some happy game vibes right there
I really enjoy the game. I can't wait for the OST though, I'm dying to vibe to it in spare time!
I think that Lisa the Painful might have been a bit of inspiration?
Amazing!
Wooo! I can't wait!
Bought this game and I really enjoyed it, I'll be on the lookout for when you decide to release another game
Looks super duper sick.
A trip of a game
THE ORRO
God, I hope this game comes to the Switch someday...
Just by the trailer I can tell it's a masterpiece
I got the do-do-do playing in my head.
hi, maceo, im curious about two things about your project if you don't mind me asking. how long have you worked on the project and will it ever come to other platforms such as the switch? god i really hope so! :)
Nico and I spent about 16 months working on Brutal Orchestra, development started about a week before Swallow the Sea released. We would love to port Brutal Orchestra to other consoles but all of that depends on how the game performs on PC.
Kim at least now it's also on Epic Games also on PC so that's cool
I’m definitely commenting late but I’m hooked on this game. I’ve played a great many of roguelikes and turn-based combat games but none of them have ever invoked as much of an obsession like brutal orchestra has. I absolutely love the bizarre style and tone of the game and the combat system is unlike anything I’ve played and is satisfy to master. Absolutely love this game thanks for this masterpiece. P.S god I like Anton he’s so cool.
i like the elephant thag stands up
Dlc when? I'd like to see bosch and nowak going to the usual depiction of hell and each place being a different sin or something
Will we ever have the OST online? Pretty Please?
OST is releasing here on UA-cam right now!
Where is the ost?
We are in the process of releasing the OST here on youtube!
Curious if there is a term for games that use imagary like Brutal Orchestra and Binding of Isaac? Anyhoo, the game is amazing.
Putting hitler in the game made it 10x funnier than any other game I played last year. I was in shock when I reached that boss.
Dude i am begging you please tell me there's morr than just two endings PLEASE!
will this someday be out for console?
(looks really amazing btw)
Hopefully.
@@TaliabobMair I HOPE SOOOO, Art direction and even the music is really dope, I've been watching some gameplays and it really looks lovely. I hope people talk more about you and your game.
Hello. I would like to see "Perfect vermin" 2 with prequel of the story of Mr. Sfits. Although ... then the teaching will disappear. Thank you anyway for this game!
second
y no ost?
OST is coming very soon.
@@TaliabobMair glad to hear people screaming while theres a guitar solo
Haven't seen anyone else mention this but the character and enemy design and dialogue of this game reminds me a LOT of LISA.
😚 Promo>SM!
