Thank you Liz! Loved this video so much. Brought my spirits up. Can't wait for the border to open so we can visit Navarre again and maybe add to my collection. The shells you found are beautiful! ♥️ from 🇨🇦
Thanks for posting often lately. This is the favorite place my wife and I like to vacation at but the pandemic has kept us home. Nice to do virtual shelling with you since we can't be there ourselves. Take care!
Oh my gosh all of those are so beautiful! That sundial, murex and scotch bonnet...wish I could talk my husband into taking a trip down there soon. I have my mom hooked on your videos. She said she watched them until 1 a.m.
Really enjoy your videos! I'm in Micanopy FL, and we only get to our favorite beach once or twice a year. Casey key, in Sarasota Cty. I love to snorkel for shells too, but it's always too rough at the shore break. My favorite shell is limpets, so look for some for me!🥰
Amazing finds & another perfect video. I love getting a new notification from you! Thanks so much for sharing. ♡ Beautiful Sundial! That one's still on my unfound list. Maybe I'll be blessed with finding one when we're there next month. :) Navarre Beach is so beautiful, even if we only find the "usuals" it'll still be a lovely time. Can't wait!
This looks like so much fun. I am moving back to South Florida in January. I think I want to learn how to snorkel to get beautiful shells. Love watching your channel. Great job getting great looking shells. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. ❤️
I love your videos, Liz! And can't wait to visit Navarre because of them; I'm from the Netherlands, but I hope we'll be allowed to fly out to the US again soon. Thanks for the beach vibes!
Awesome shells! I think your flats however are round-rib scallops (aka the ravenel scallop) not zig zags. You can tall them apart by the rib spacing. The round-ribbed ones usually have more space in between the ribs while the zig zag has much less space and the ribs appear as if they were cramped together. It can be tough telling them apart, but if you have the two side by side you can see the difference.
yes thank you Elizabeth for doing this and sharing!! oh and my almost 2 yrs old grandson can now say seashell and loves them too. he carries one around with him. I said yay he likes to find them and can now hunt them with me haha, not, he will go running for the ocean as he loves the water!
Thank you! I've found a very teeny tiny micro baby Junonia, didnt even hardly have it's spots yet. Lots of shards and cobs, and my Mother found a front half of one, you'd think it was whole until you turned it over and it's missing the back half 😆
Hi!!! Just wanted to say that my family and I had a wonderful time in Navarre. We went last year and this year too. We made a lot of wonderful memories and got to make some new ones this year too!!! Oh, and I actually found my first ever Apple Murex!!! I am so excited. My mom found one last year and let me have it, and she found another this year. I was getting frustrated, (not at her, but at the fact that I couldn’t find one, and that was her second one in a row. I guess she is an Apple Murex magnet. Lol.) I really wanted to find my own... and wouldn’t you know it, there it came in the surf. I screamed Apple Murex and grabbed it with my hand held net. Oh my word. I still can’t believe that I actually found one. I also found one or two small dime sized shark eyes. Those are really neat too. Thank you for sharing your knowledge about shelling on Navarre!!! Your tips helped me find one of my most prized possessions. 😉😄
You know girl, your videos are about the only ones I watch all the way through 😂 I soooooo wanna be there. I was serious about that care package tho. 🤔 😘 💕
Nope the shells you see are ones that came right from the Gulf (empty ones only!) I've noticed shells from South West FL seem to be stinky and nasty but here in NW FL they generally don't need anything but a quick rinse.
That tiny bright orange scallop was ridiculously beautiful!
The water looked so inviting!!! Love all of the shells!!! The flat scallops are so interesting, all of the shells are. Thank you for sharing!🐠👙👍🏻
Wow, these shells are exceptionally beautiful. Liz I think you attracting them!

Liz, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful hobby with us! I have so enjoyed watching your videos!
I've never heard of a distorsio shell. Thanks for introducing me to a new type of shell! Seriously jealous of your scotch bonnet haul. :)

I definitely need to see two side by side, I had no idea there was a difference, Thanks!
Love your videos, how lucky to be able to do this activity during pandemic

The tiny sundial is a depressed topsnail or Calliostoma yucatecanum, a cool find for the area.
Thanks for the correct ID!
Great video!
Thanks!
I just went for my first time back in October after the storm I loved it can wait to back back I'm from Chattanooga TN
Amazing! So many bonnets!
Those large purple barnacles are my favorite! I’ve only found one myself but I hope to find more!
Ok watched again. Worth it!!!
🙌😘
Those shells are beautiful. Have you ever find a Junonia? Your area has a lot of flat scallops. Wish I was there.
Thank you! I've found a very teeny tiny micro baby Junonia, didnt even hardly have it's spots yet. Lots of shards and cobs, and my Mother found a front half of one, you'd think it was whole until you turned it over and it's missing the back half 😆
I love here in Florida as well. I love finding new areas to snorkel. Are you close to the fishing pier? The water there is beautiful.
No I never swim near the fishing pier, too much bait in the water for sharks! 😉
in heaven although green with envy! thank you and stay safe.. (both of you).. :)

Wow your really good at that! I would wanna do that too
Wow!!! All those scotch bonnets!!!
Do you clean your in M.acid? All those shells are clean looking.
Nope the shells you see are ones that came right from the Gulf (empty ones only!) I've noticed shells from South West FL seem to be stinky and nasty but here in NW FL they generally don't need anything but a quick rinse.
Wow we are getting spoiled 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 No complaining here in Minnesota ♥️♥️♥️
🤣 don't get too used to it! It's been a crazy week, quite unusual to have so many good shelling days so close!
Nice, what do you do with the shells, if you don't mind me asking...I make statement necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc., out of them.
I craft with them and fill vases and share with visiting family and friends. I don't keep everything I collect, I just like to photograph them.
@@LizFisher1 , thank you.
Unbelievable shells. Is Navarre beach always good for shelling?
No not always like this, we have weeks where there are no shells to be found, it can be very hit or miss here.
Wish i didnt work so much so i could see this in the AM
❤️❤️❤️
How deep is the water you are snorkeling in?
Not very deep, anywhere from just 1 to 3 feet usually
What state are you in?
Florida
Hi! What's the snorkel you're using? Or what is the best snorkel you've found?
So far my favorite has been a Wacool dry snorkel from Amazon
@@LizFisher1 thanks!
The fish passing by: 👁👄👁
