Hey Liz! Nice finds!!! I just LOVE looking for sea shells, and we're recent transplants to Navarre ourselves!! I may have to take my Mrs. with me one of these non-beach days and do this very same thing! Thanks for the great idea, and please keep sharing these!!!
Liz, I always love your videos. My family visits there every fall. My brother and I love to shell. I was very impressed by your shark's eye. What a great find! Thank you always for taking me to the beach with you. Made my day!
That is a BEAUTIFUL sharks eye! The Junonia cob was another great find. I would say the big olives were wonderful in themselves. You had a great day of shelling! Thanks for sharing. ❤️
My boys and husband made fun of me when I went beach combing in Navarre beach...I begged for us to go. We finally went and I went to work! Needless to say, I turned around and my husband and sons had all joined me in beach combing! After 6 hrs we didn’t even realize how sunburnt we were! And we JUST booked a vacation home for July! Now to find all my beach combing stuff! Love the video!
I'm so glad you were able to get the whole family involved! 🥰 I hope you have a wonderful next trip, maybe we'll run into each other beach combing, please say hi if you recognize me! 👋
Wow!!! That haul of shells is amazing!!! Makes me wish I was at the beach. Lol. Thank you again for the fun and fantastic shelling vlogs. They always remind me of my home away from home. 😄
You took the words right outta my mouth when the Junonia landed in your net😳♥️♥️♥️♥️ Thanks for the virtual shelling and vacation together♥️ Fan from Minnesota ♥️
Beautiful shark eye! Funny, I found a baby junonia too down at Lido Key. But here near Tampa at Honeymoon Island state park there have been several found in the past few months! So happy you're videoing again! The "emerald coast" has the prettiest water!
Hey Liz, great haul today! What an amazing Shark's Eye. I found a couple whoppers last week while visiting Marco Island, but they were not that big. I did find a Junonia on Marco last week, which now will have pride of place in my collection back here in Nebraska. Thank you for sharing your shelling videos with us, it sustains those of us who also love to shell but don't live near the beach.
Wow a Junonia, Congrats! Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you can enjoy my videos while you're landlocked! I moved here from MO because I just couldn't stand being away from the ocean!
I just moved up from central Florida and I havent seen ANY shells but tiny clam style ones and I’ve been to Navarre, ft Walton, and Pensacola. Are there certain spots I’m missing? I miss the giant lightening elks and huge sand dollars i used to find before moving up to the panhandle. Homesick!💜
The shells come and go, it can be very hit or miss here. Winter is the best time for shells to wash up. During summer you have to really work for them, snorkeling is the best route for summer 🧜♀️
I’m so glad to see you posting again. Yes, that shark’s eye was a whopper! Good eye to see it in the water. I hope you find a nice big junonia this winter. My first one was also one inch but I love it. Someone told me they are harder to find than the bigger ones.
Great finds today! That shark’s eye was huge! The first Atlantic Cockle you found had very pretty colors. I have big shiny lettered olives too! So glad you make these videos so I can kinda feel like I am shelling too. Do you know if the Florida fighting conchs that don’t have knobs are a different variety from the ones that don’t?
No not always, it can be very hit or miss. Winter brings in the most shells, during summer we can go weeks with clear beaches and not one shell washing up!
May shelling can be hit or miss, we usually go through a dry spell in the Spring with shells. I've never tried shelling in Fort Walton so I'm not sure how it is there.
I love your videos
Thanks for watching Scott!
Beautiful shells

Beautiful love the broken shell🤩🤩🤩💜💜
Love the way you get the seashells. It’s a great way to get them without getting soaked. Love all the seashells you got.

Missed your videos, what a special find with that shark eye. Passed 11pm, but worth staying up to watch this.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Oh now that’s awesome!!!! I sure miss it so much. I need some shelling days for sure. So gray and cold here ugh 🤦🏻♀️

While looking for the “perfect” shell, we often overlook the imperfect beautiful shells.
I love your videos Liz there very relaxing happy to be a subscriber
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoy them, makes it all worth it to hear that!
Oh man.... September can’t get here soon enough!
Спасибо, красивая запись
Awesome shark eye! Hopefully, we will make it to Navarre this year.
🙌💖💖💖
That's the biggest Shark Eye I have ever seen!
I have a baby junonia too! 3/4 inch
The tiny ones are so cute 🤗
That sharks eye is HUGE 😳
That's the biggest sharks eye I've ever seen 😀🐚🐌
Everytime i see the giant cockle shell i always think about putting feet on them and useing them to serve shimp salad! Lol
Sounds like a great use to me! 😆 they're great for holding bars of soap, or displaying other shells in!
Thank you! I think the FFC without knobs are just worn down from the surf maybe? But I'm not sure!
What time of day do you go shelling?
Whatever time I can find to get out there, no secret to it!
Love the shark eye! Where did you find your net?
It's Frabill brand I ordered from Amazon
What beach access do you go to?
I go to different ones all the time, and then I walk all up and down the beach so there's not really one particular one for me.
Great finds!!! How do you tell the zigzag v ravenel scallop? Im new to these two scallops, not quite sure how to ID.
I've honestly never heard of the Ravenel scallop! But the zig zag is just a pretty common one for our area in the panhandle of FL
Where did you get your net?
I was woundering the same thing and found one similar to hers at Wal-Mart
I ordered this one from Amazon, it is Frabill brand. But there are also shelling nets at our local Walmart.
I know it’s been 5 months for this video was wondering how long of a net you have? I found one at Amazon and the handle is 26 inches.
The one I have from Amazon says it is exactly 26 inches as well
@@LizFisher1 thank you very much! One more question how deep do you usually snorkel?
@@nancyraper8718 I stay in the shallow water near shore only a few feet usually
Is shelling always this good on Navarre?
No not always, it can be very hit or miss. Winter brings in the most shells, during summer we can go weeks with clear beaches and not one shell washing up!
I was just here for a month vacation and it was absolutely stunning! Cannot wait to visit again! 🥰
I'm glad you enjoyed our little slice of paradise! 🥰
Hi Liz. How is the shelling in May? Any luck on Ft. Walton?
May shelling can be hit or miss, we usually go through a dry spell in the Spring with shells. I've never tried shelling in Fort Walton so I'm not sure how it is there.
