I feel you man I’ve been going through a hard time as well and I still am but you have to stay strong and push forward. You will be able to do this if it helps, I’d say try starting a new save on Dark Souls but do something different like pick a different class or something you like to do or used to like to do. Any hobby really, something that will take your mind off things. I know it’s hard it was really hard for me as well but don’t lose hope keep it with you always and you’ll see that things will get better. Be patient and good things will come along. Don’t worry too hard about things buddy trust me. I worried a lot too and it caused me to do things that complicated things even more, I know it’s hard but don’t worry or overthink because it will make things worse for you so the key is to not lose hope and push forward. My situations as tough for me I was left all alone with nobody but myself and when I found myself in a hopeless spot crying my eyes out it helped to think of good memories. Just to think about them and relive them in my head. Not mourn them but rather cherish them and to be glad they happened. I would think of memories of a happier time and they would motivate me to get back up and do something, anything that could improve myself like working out, gitting gud at games, studying things, studying the environment and things like that. It helped ease things. This is the best advice I can give I’m sorry if it doesn’t help I don’t know your situation but I hope things get better for you. Im building my first PC next week and I can't wait to start modding games and such. I'm a mostly console gamer so this makes me super excited to dive in. I've done my research on PC stuff for a month and im glad I finally took the dive. Its a lot easier to understand then some people make it.
My take on the story of dark souls, speaking that dark souls 2 and dark souls 3 take place after dark souls 1 I think dark souls 2 and 3 are a branch off not a line, I've never heard this before so I'll say it here. Dark souls 2 is the result of the player (chosen undead) taking the dark ending and leaving the flame, hence the existence of dark spells (hexes) existing, dark souls 3 is as if the player took the light ending and preserved the flame, notice how the soul of cinder is extremely player like, using all kinds of magic EXCEPT for hexes bc they do not exist because the age of dark (dark souls 2) hasn't happened yet bc the flame is still going, notice how the soul of cinder can back flip, he probably has the wood grain ring from dark souls 1 (the reason why you cant get it in dark souls 3 because he has it) and how to my knowledge everything else only casts one type of magic what sets the soul of cinder apart? He is the chosen undead from dark souls 1. Further on ds3, however, there are dark spells but they are still considered sorceries, miracles and pyromancies but they are still dark variations because the age of dark hasn't come yet (as mentioned earlier) but the flame is getting weaker as time goes on because it has been so long since the flame has been re kindled but even then it is still getting weaker anyways. So the flame that keeps the dark away is growing weaker so dark is trickling in for example the ash estus flask the description says it exists because the flame fueling it has lingered or "grew cold". I hope people find this and read it I hope you guys like it or find it interesting there are many other things that back this theory up, but I hope VaatiVidya sees this please everyone help this reach him so he can see it thank you for anyone who read the entire thing. Edit: also another point for dark souls 2 is that in the throne of want, there is no fire why? Because it has burnt out bc the chosen undead in dark souls 1 ignored it.

Souls style multiplayer is exactly as it’s meant to be-it’s simply in a different category, serving a different purpose than traditional co-op games. Go back and read Miyazaki’s description of where the multiplayer philosophy game from-the transient nature of help from complete strangers that stemmed from an encounter he had when his car was stuck in the snow. This manifests in game in the form of notes on the ground, being able to watch player deaths with their bloodstains, summon signs and even community information sharing online and in wikis. The system is working as intended and unlike anything else on the market in a good way. Souls games are meant to be largely personal, single-player experiences that center around individual triumph and perseverance. If you want traditional co-op go play one of the literally thousands of co-op focused games you can play with your friends.
Man, i love PC modding for DS3. Since recently there’s been some real good mods like Cinders (for PVE) and Champion’s Ashes (for PVP). Both add a ton of stuff and balance a lot of stuff. There’s also this really neat smaller mod called The Blades of Ashina which adds weapons wielded by bosses from Sekiro with ported moveset and they’re really awesome. Just don’t forget to play them on an alt when going online otherwise you’ll naturally get softbaned
Hey Vaati, love the vids, I’ve been streaming a playthrough of the Jojo mod for some friends on a discord server and there’s a couple of things about the way stands attacks work that aren’t obvious at first (or at least weren’t to me). attacks like the dragonslayer armors R2 downward exploding swing appear to be broken, but they actually typically just require you to hold down R2 for a charged attack, I have found relatively few attacks that don’t fully resolve themselves, and what’s really happening is that the attack either needs to be charged, or requires multiple presses for all the moves in the set to be performed, for the example the giant swamp crabs have a 4+ hit rampage claw attack, but if you only hit L1 once it only performs the beginning of the combo. I think the trade off makes sense because these are often stunlockable spam attacks or incredibly powerful/AOE effects, so the trade off is finding the right moments to use them. Also, many attacks with longer animations than a single swing are very easily interrupted by rolling, being hit, or your fist hitting a wall, so it’s been interesting trying to find ways to position myself such that I can walk or run out of the way of enemies without rolling, for my big attacks to go off. Hopefully that’s helpful information! I love the jojo mod

My friend really wants to play the game in coop and I’m so down but we just don’t know and he does t have the game so he’d be buying it for that exclusively.
I know this isn't related to the video very much but i thought of something when replaying ds3 recently. when orbek gives you his emote (silent ally) i got thinking, it is one of the only (if not the only) emotes in the game that is given intentionally, and i think it must have some sort of hidden purpose in the game.(or was intended to) Orbek says that is was used to identify allys so maybe (i haven't tried this for myself) if you use it in front of people that would be familiar with the gesture (the sorcerer in the profaned capital is one) it might pacify them. This is just a thought but it bugs me that it seems realy important in the way Orbek gives it to you and i cant find a use for it.

I know this isn't related to the video very much but i thought of something when replaying ds3 recently.
when orbek gives you his emote (silent ally) i got thinking, it is one of the only (if not the only) emotes in the game that is given intentionally, and i think it must have some sort of hidden purpose in the game.(or was intended to)
Orbek says that is was used to identify allys so maybe (i haven't tried this for myself) if you use it in front of people that would be familiar with the gesture (the sorcerer in the profaned capital is one) it might pacify them.
This is just a thought but it bugs me that it seems realy important in the way Orbek gives it to you and i cant find a use for it.
