I took notice to his vulnerability in hugging her, then when she didn’t return it and gave him a dry hug, in that moment something hit him. You can see when he rolls his eyes as they pulled away from the hug

The fact that Steve let her tell her story sitting down shows me that he didn't think she did it from the beginning. I've never seen him let anyone sit for a case like this

She's very honest and she's remorseful. She's not lying or trying to blame anyone else for her problems. I wish my mom was like that.

I think by far, this was the best Steve Wilkos show. When the Mother said she has watched Steve grow, I watched his face, and I've even commented that the early Steve is not the more aware and empathetic Steve. That son is a bonafied example of people who will foster/adopt, clothe, and feed you, but have evil intentions. These people told him his Mother was dead and molested him. How evil is that?
This is definitely my favorite story from this show. I love both of them so much and wish them health wealth and happiness for the rest of their precious lives .... and i wish the opposite for those who said such vile things to a little boy (at the time) about his mother.

I disagree. I don’t believe he was ever sexually abused by anyone. Based off the fact he has no memory of anyone touching him. Granted some things can be blocked out but you will not forget everything & this is coming from a child that was sexually abused.

Sometimes it's not good to look for someone that just does not care. Sometimes it's better to be by yourself.
I appreciate that she continued to persue the relationship and wasn't angry or hold resentment towards him. I know it's not his fault, but some parents are just that way.
My father holds a lot of anger towards me because of what my mom did or said and it completely ruined our relationship. He held resentment until I was out of his hands I guess.
Anyway, it's a true parent moment and true love moment to love kids through this. He really needed her and she didn't just give up on him. She may have had issues that prevented him from being able to be with her, but it sounds like she's trying her hardest to be better for him.
Life sucks and circumstances on someone's birth or life, even ones you don't make can change someone's life for the better or worse. There are so many born in poverty who don't even get to opportunity to life a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes they don't know any other way as well.
This is why jails and prisons should work with people to actually reform them. I think it's the Netherlands, but their prisons are literally almost monitored apartments and they make the people go to schools, classes and learn a way to live a healthy life.
We should also have more programs for people on the inside so they can become who they should be and be able to make a choice for once in their life, not just one of survival.
I hope this momma and son are able to heal each other and live the best life. That son needs a momma to give him hugs and teach him some confidence and that she loves him wholeheartedly. All kids need that.

I can tell you that if he would have had any memories of getting sexually abused he would remember, I am a victim of it and can tell you that you can't forget something like that happening to you. Hope they can have a healthy relationship from now on after those accusations

Unfortunately that's not always true. Often times an abuse victim will unintentionally block out their abuse (or parts of it) because the memories are too difficult to bare. Repression serves as a defense mechanism where a person unconsciously pushes away painful or traumatic thoughts and memories. Sometimes, the abuse experienced early in life can overwhelm the central nervous system, causing children to split off a painful memory from conscious awareness. It's the body's way of protecting itself.

Steve gave the entire ending of the show away right at the beginning when he didn’t make her stand up.. anytime Steve does a show where someone is being accused of molesting or hurting a child. He makes them stand up out of her chair until they get the results.
