VERY HELPFUL.Thankyou so much.will practise everyday as been told l am risking fractures to my spine.lm tall and slim and not that old and lm horrified with this news.l am on a med that l cannot go off or change which make osteoporosis worse and this terrifies me as l think it must be the cause as l am pretty healthy and active.l feel like l am trying to win a loosing battle.😢😢😢.thku again from ltaly
Thank you so much! I asked my Dr. for a prescription with a P.T. but he seemed not to understand why with Osteoporosis I would need P.T. and insisted the insurance company would not allow. I wanted visits with a P.T for all that you have shown in this video. Good thing I try to research info outside his office office advice 😕.... He said just walk and take meds😯....
Hello Sandra, nice job advocating for yourself! Yes, walking and medications can help, BUT there is so much more. Here is my osteoporosis playlist where you may find other helpful videos. ua-cam.com/play/PL7iadTWb0ExqS-wsl0ssK7jKVwqkRTTlJ.html Please pass them on to anyone you know that may benefit, good luck!
Trying to imagine doing that while sitting and putting socks or shoes on. It is hard to imagine. My spine just went to -2.8. I am told I should run. I am nit a fast runner and sometimes I run On dirt as opposed to cement. Is there a way I can continue to run. For some reason walking bothers my back and knees much more than running does. When I walk I think I take such long strides which I don’t do when I run. At any rate it just seems to me that my wal g is a harder impact on my body than my slow running.
I love your helpful videos you get straight to the point of the help we need .I’m into making smoothie bowls for my bone health banana berries mango 2 big spoonfuls of almond meal and soy milk delicious.I’ve also increased the amount of barley I eat in my vegan diet to get my phosphorus and zinc for my bone health and yes big fan of the peanut butter.😂😂
Thank you. I’m convinced I have lost height over time about 2cm would an X-ray or mri scan detect this or is there anyway of confirming if I really have lost height?
Hello, thanks for the question. "Nose over toes" applies only when you are getting ready to stand up from sitting. It helps to bring your body weight forward but not by rounding your back. Hope this makes sense, good luck!
I am taking Denosumab injection every 6 months now for more than 3 years now. 5 months ago, I fell down on my knees and now I can't bend my left knee much. I feel stiffness and can't walk speedily. Can you show some exercises to remove it. There is no fracture or anything.

I love your videos. Clear, easy understanding, good advice. Found you during Covid quarantine and since then have had a compression fracture.
Thanks Karen. Sorry to hear about your compression fracture, hope you are feeling better now.
Hip hinge movement is used in a lot of exercises like the deadlift and kettlebell swings. This helped me to adjust my own 'bending forward' movements.
Great to hear!
Excellent video.
Thanks!

My doctor didn’t even discuss my diagnosis of osteopenia with me…I don’t have a good doctor and it’s impossible to get a new one where I live.
Thank you for showing the right ways. Would you please show how to puck up a little piece of paper off the floor. Thank you
Wow! Thank you! Should it feel like a deep wide squat? Thats what it feels like
You are very welcome, just remember to hinge at the hips and NOT round out your back.
Finally someone explained why it's bad to bend over and what to do.
Excellent, happy to help!

Your short and to the point videos favor retention for follow through. I'm off to get the broom stick for practice.
Excellent, sounds good!
