Thanks for the training videos you have produced. The information is straight forward, simple and concise, and you were able to fill in some of the gaps I had in accurate sheath making. I’ve made all your sheaths and now I’m able to start to branch out a little. When following your procedures, I know what the outcome will be and how the sheath will turn out. Now that I know how the finished product will look, I can really start to use my imagination to create what I want to see. Thanks again.

Great! I have a similar knife [my fathers from the 60's-90's ]I want to make a sheath for and I have been looking for a traditional sheath tutorial to keep it period correct. Thanks and excellent work!

Great videos. I have been binge watching for hours now. My wife for some reason likes boxed cereals. Those cereal boxes work pretty good for making patterns on a lot of things. Saves me from buying poster board. Another thing that helps for big pieces if you can get slip sheaths that come on pallets of products. TSC has a lot of them These also work great for patterns on large pieces. They will usually give them to you.

I really enjoy the banter. Thanks for the support and when I lived in Tucson I’d gather all I could carry of those pallet sheets ( the thick cardboard) and I’d use em on my dye bench and I’d cut target backers too. I’ve got more videos brewing and a bonus tip episode. Thanks

Pattern making is more challenging for me than the actual assembling a project. Thanks for making it simple. Very nice sheath, BTW.

George - Like the others here, I wanted to personally thank you for a very well done video. I have just started to get into Leathercraft, and as expected in this Internet Centric World we now find ourselves in, I suffer from information overload. I have been working on a custom sheath for a knife for a couple of weeks (3 failed attempts - or rather, 3 successful eliminations of what does not work for me). Your video filled in so many detail gaps that I am confident that attempt #4 will be the winner. I greatly appreciate the time that you took to make and share this tutorial, as well as your other videos. I hope you know that they are making a positive difference to those of us just starting out in this wonderful hobby... THANK YOU...... For God and Country - Sincerely, Brewman (aka Gary Brown)..

OK I was wondering do you hand snitch or sewing machine ? I'm learning so I will be doing my hand. I find your video so I'm subscribing to your channel. Thanks for sharing and teaching us ! From Mobile,Alabama

Thank you Veronica. I do both but I enjoy hand stitching better. It’s very relaxing for me and I think it looks better. For really thick leather items I’ve been known to use a dremel drill press. I show that in my most recent YT video called “knife sheath school” Thanks for subscribing and have fun with this amazing craft
