    Wow so organized that is a great way to do restorations. Is this machine good enough to be worth all the effort?

      Thanks! And ya… about that… no it’s not. But this is a learning curve and I don’t want to ruin a machine that’s worth a lot of money by doing a bad job. So I’m doing it to this moto 4 as practice.

    I'm struggling to find the correct bearings and dust covers for the rear axle. Could you share a link or part#s for the axle carrier bearings please?

      www.ebay.com/itm/401977861307?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JrRin3IFTMq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=39xyh32ctx6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
      Here’s one on eBay. The dust cover though might be harder to find. Try www.partzilla.com for that

    What did you use to polish the caliper?

      Polishing wheels from Pryme MX. There should be a link in the description of his website.

    I really wanted to watch you tear it apart 😢😂

      It was just a bunch of ugga duggas. 😂 it actually went pretty quick like 2 hours to get all the big pieces apart.

      @@Welcome_to_me_mudding_mowers oh gotcha 😅 have a nice big area to be able to lay stuff out really nicely and make sure you label bolts as you go!

      i have the same atv it’s been sitting for a while and oil started coming out from the carburetor so i’m guessing a top end would do

      @ToyShopRestorations  Рік тому

      The video I made of me rebuilding the top end has all those links! Hopefully they still work!

      Oil doesn’t usually come out of the carb 🤔 maybe the crankcase breather hose is dumping oil from the motor into the airbox? Check your oil level and make sure it isn’t over full!
