I remember living in San Diego in the early 90’s -2003. I specifically remember BT spinning on his laptop at this really small club off Hancock Street DT San Diego. Must have been between 1999-2001. Anyways it was really innovative for the time and he was the only one doing it.

Right now I'm using an iPad. My laptop broke during the covid19 pandemic and as you know there's not much work these days so money to fix my old laptop or buy a new laptop is just not easy to come by. I could really use this so I'm ready to go back to work earning a living as the lockdowns lift. It would truly be a God send. Times have been hard on us all. So I truly truly need this. I need this laptop because since Covid started, my kids have been doing digital learning at home. That means my Dj laptop is now needed for school work. It was an obvious choice to make, but still sucks just the same. Thanks for all you do for Dj community. Especially new Dj’s like me.

a laptop won't make you a better DJ, you have to be able to do it yourself. but it's a great help and DJing or learning it. I think that every DJ is worthy of it)) but I need it so that I could be more mobile and use the laptop only for DJing, and improve my skills. good luck everyone's)

I depend on my DJ gigs to support myself financially. I have been having storage issues and need new space for music 😭 this would change everything for me.
So does carrying around an external hard drive not work? I dont really DJ other than having fun at home, so I always envisioned I could just load up an external over time and use that.
i have been DJing with laptop since i can remember, I have never had the money to own a xdj or another standalone, and the laptop has always been an important part of my life. It's not the first time i get kicked out of the dj booth for my old and not trusty laptop. So i'm glad that at least DJs like us have an incredible product and it's not the typical expensive macbook. Okay.....so when l wanted to start a career in DJing, all attempts to get a teacher failed. And then l decided to go online to "search" l dont remember what l typed in though but all l wanna say is you are the very first DJ UA-cam recommended to me and l have been following your tutorials ever since, No teacher physically and l have been able to master the art of mixing by just watching and practicing what you teach. Hey carlo, i have been DJ'ing on my DDJ-800 for about 1 to 1,5 years now, and my current janky laptop is basically on its last legs. Its buffering constantly and it messes up my sets. As a (nearly) broke college student this would definitely be a welcome gift.

Well... After 33 years in the oilfield I was laid off! Due to Covid the oilfield is a mess! I decided to go into business for myself and I wanted to do something I enjoyed. Everyone here needs better computer. But for me it will be only first computer. I watch you now for years. I always wanted to donate, but money always were an issue. As a DJ, I started after you inspired me. I had to find something after I got in trouble in life. I had problems with law and family. I was placed in place for depressed people and they were looking for something for me to get back to life. But I found it myself. I started looking at DJ'ing and started to watch your tutorials. I had a reason to work and I bought myself first controler. SB-3. The same you recommend and show lot of tricks. But the place where I lived was harsh environment. More less year ago one of roommates destroyed my old laptop. Laptop was old and laggy, but worked. Since then I can't play, because of COVID I lost my job and right now my life turned again into a bad way. Now I try to find joy watching your videos, performances and some other happy DJ's. Your smile always brightens my day. Maybe some day I also will have a chance to play for some audience. I wish you best of luck.

I've been a mac user for djing for a while. My 2011 MacBook just died. I brought a hp zbook studio g3 on a deal. I have a love-hate relationship with it. Okay.....so when l wanted to start a career in DJing, all attempts to get a teacher failed. And then l decided to go online to "search" l dont remember what l typed in though but all l wanna say is you are the very first DJ UA-cam recommended to me and l have been following your tutorials ever since, No teacher physically and l have been able to master the art of mixing by just watching and practicing what you teach. This laptop would really boost my confidence since it would prove my efforts wasn't a waste of time 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I have been Djing as a hobby since last year with my DDJ 400. However, since I'm still a student, I can only DJ with my old Acer Laptop, which works but it does have a bit delay.

Hey carlo, i have been DJ'ing on my DDJ-800 for about 1 to 1,5 years now, and my current janky laptop is basically on its last legs. Its buffering constantly and it messes up my sets. As a (nearly) broke college student this would definitely be a welcome gift.
I just got my first DJ controller (Pioneer DDJ-200) and it's quite hard to use it without a computer, this would honestly be a dream come true to win this! Not only would I use it for DJ'ing but I would use it for general school work.

Well... After 33 years in the oilfield I was laid off! Due to Covid the oilfield is a mess! I decided to go into business for myself and I wanted to do something I enjoyed. I need this kind of laptop because my laptop is very old and can't afford a new one because of financial problem. I started learning how to DJ a 4 years ago on my already old and tired laptop, I have to have the buffer set quite high and still have massive sound issues. I've got a great controller, a great PA system, but I've never done a public performance because I know my laptop is not up to standard. I have been trying create music for 6 years, I do not really have time and my laptop is pretty old but I won't give up. I also want to buy an entry level dj equipment and this is why I know your channel. I do not really have the money so I am waiting for a good catch. I think a laptop like this would be an amazing surprise next to my dj controller.

I watch you now for years. I always wanted to donate, but money always were an issue.
As a DJ, I started after you inspired me. I had to find something after I got in trouble in life. I had problems with law and family. I was placed in place for depressed people and they were looking for something for me to get back to life. But I found it myself.
I started looking at DJ'ing and started to watch your tutorials. I had a reason to work and I bought myself first controler. SB-3. The same you recommend and show lot of tricks.
But the place where I lived was harsh environment. More less year ago one of roommates destroyed my old laptop. Laptop was old and laggy, but worked. Since then I can't play, because of COVID I lost my job and right now my life turned again into a bad way.
Now I try to find joy watching your videos, performances and some other happy DJ's.
Your smile always brightens my day. Maybe some day I also will have a chance to play for some audience.

I've been a mac user for djing for a while. My 2011 MacBook just died. I brought a hp zbook studio g3 on a deal. I have a love-hate relationship with it. If I've known about this before my purchase, I would of went with this xmg, because I also like to game and do video editing on the go! That red cassie looks dope!

So I’ve been DJing for about about 2 - 3 years now and i’ve been using this old, crusty, HP windows 8, hand me down laptop for so freakin long and it’s not easy getting a brand new laptop at 15 especially when it’s hard getting a job right now.
