I don't know why, but I originally thought she was going to be the next Kirigiri, you know, the character who becomes really important towards the end and is definitely not canon ship.

Honestly it feels like she got fuckin thrown to the wayside at some point in development. Really unfortunate, I liked a female character that took somewhat of a leadership role without being a detective god

all we have to go off of is mikan, but her personality just turned all the way around when she turned into a remnant again at the end of her trial. it's hard for me to imagine too but it's fun to think about
If I have to guess, she betrays her dad in some way, she did mention her dad just left her do all the housework. She might secretly hate her dad because her dad just didn't care about her enough. Or maybe her mother dies since her mother is a war photographer, it's not canon that she dies but being near war places is dangerous. My very last theory is that Mahiru and Fuyuhiko had some sort of revenge relationship where they kill each other's friends/family due to what happened to Fuyuhiko's sister
@@t1me212 yeah, but in danganronpa: nagito komaeda 2.5 (anime) and danganronpa: hope arc (anime) shows how the entire goodbye despair game was a simulation in the neo world program because they were the remnants of despair. after the neo world program, they all lived on jabberwock island in the real world after meeting makoto, kyoko, yasuhiro, asahina, togami, toko, and komaru. everyone in the second game lived except for chiaki, have you seen those anime’s?

Mahiru koizumi should have been a survivor and here’s why 1: she was some what helpful during the game. 2: Sonia never really helped. 3: she would have figured out that nightmare syndrome was about her and sato but kept it a secret and everyone would have gotten mad at her. 4: she had more than three personality traits, unlike Sonia. 5: her death made me sad and Sonia should have died. 6: she could have had evidence that would help us in a later trial through her photos. 7: she could have continued to collect photos of everyone after they died so we wouldn’t forget them. 8: Sonia was a really poorly written character in my opinion and was a waste of potential. 9: mahiru is a tsundere, Sonia is just anoying.
