Here it lies. A drunken comment on a sad song that no one read. But at one point in time a man felt so desperate as to put it here hoping that no one would see it, while secretly hoping that someone would. All the while not really caring. Anxiety flaring, but desperation driving he couldn't stop. Even if you never read it, he did, and he already regretted hitting that little blue arrow. Go in peace friend.

This song got me through my heroin detox. I listened to it everyday, multiple times a day for about 10 days. It was that little bit of hope and small burst of dopamine that the song would give me to keep me going through until the end . Ofcourse there was a lot of treatment and help after that, but without this song, I really don't believe I would have gotten out or made the decision to stop. Its been 6yrs since then, and im still clean from heroin. I have my children and my life. I am truly grateful for this song.

I originally got into Passenger because my dad listens to him, and this is the song he would always sing with the most passion. I have no doubts when I say this album is my favourite of all time. I can listen when I'm happy or sad and the lyrics are so clever and meaningful. It reminds me of a gentle stroll through a forest, or sleeping in on a morning. It makes my heart flutter and it puts me at such peace. This album truly is a work of art.
Mike really is a powerful artist at heart. Don't be the man of a million dollars who decides to spend it all on his sorrows and have only a dollar left to his name. But instead be the man who only has a dollar, and puts the million into the eyes of his lover. Smile at the sun, and marvel at the moon. Shine with the stars and float with the clouds. All the Little Lights has got to be my favourite album of all time along with Cosmo's Factory by CCR and Led Zeppelin II by (obviously) Led Zeppelin. This was the first album of Passenger's that I bought, and I've been listening to it repeatedly. Holes, Life's For the Living, The Wrong Direction, I Hate, Let Her Go, All the Little Lights the list goes on and on of the masterpieces that he has put in this magnum opus.
I heard this song for the first time on the radio today, beautiful lyrics and music🌟

Cannot understand certain people commenting that this song is depressing!! Seriously, how??? Upbeat, uptempo song that tells you to actually go "Live your life" to the full because you never know when you might be leaving this place. "Life's for the living so live it or you're better off dead" means exactly that. Live it!! Don't waste it. Weird how certain people draw negativity from things that have no negativity. It must be inborn in them or something. This is one of the best songs I've honestly heard for some years. Passenger seems to be a group that write some unbelievably melodic songs and I can't wait to listen to more of their music. Keep up the good work :-)

There are many people who need to cry for the lost, its the way we humans heal ourselves. Perhaps you have never lost anyone. THIS BLOKE IS DEPRESSED.

Passenger - A lyrical genius.
I enjoy how there are comments from people saying, "This is going to be played at my funeral" or something along those lines, when this song clearly has nothing to do with dying or death... The song's meaning is for you to live life to the fullest, be happy with what you are given, let those you are close too know that you love them, and be thankful you're alive. Don't let anything hold you back, make an impact on this world, and truly be happy with the decisions you have made.
If the people saying "This is going to be played at my funeral" have truly lived the life portrayed in this song... by then all means, play this song at your funeral.
