From what I have seen in your blog reasons for disbalance due to excessive vibration is technically correct BUT the three most common reasons for initial vibrations of the body of the Washing machines arise for two non technical reasons,i.e., a) uneven level of the Floor on which the machine stands and where the alignment stand screws have not been adjusted to the level of the floor OR have been adjusted to the level of the floor and the nuts have not locked b) An external Washing Machine stand has been placed beneath the Washing machine. This is NEVER recommended UNLESS water stands. I don't know why the Company's demo engineers insist on this, Covers, washing accessories I can understand. Could any Manufacturing company clarify this???. c) certain material (which when soaked )like Towels, small curtains, Bathroom/Door mats when placed either individually or together in the Machine tend to cause undue vibration, where, otherwise the Machine does not vibrate when washing a regular load of clothes.
2. I would never recommend replacing ONLY ONE PART OF A PAIR for example only one shocker or only one spring etc. because if this be the case then again when the other part starts losing its tensile rigidity then this again would lead to the onstart of initial vibration. Therefore, in the Customer 's interest replace both parts.
You are correct that in most of the cases its the not technical reasons, as you mentioned about uneven floor, The screw at the botto needs to be adjusted to actually place it in a balance state on that uneven floor. But this machine I repaired had actually the technical fault. So I though to share with the world. Thanks for giving advice or suggestion on the number 2 paragraph. Be Blessed!

My machine is creating sound during spinning cycle. Its a IFB front load machine 7 years old. Technician told to replace drum and shock ups both. Without opening machine he says drum is misaligned. Is really drum need to be changed?

Nice Question Dear The Shock Absorber Life Depends on the quality of the material with which it is made if the shock absorber is made with good quality it will have no problem for many years but if its quality is low it will be bad quickly, and in last it also depends which company is it made by.

My 10 years old IFB shock absorbers go bad every year and I have to get them replaced. Fed up now and want to replace the machine. Which brand model do you suggest has robust build and can server for years without problem even if i put heavy laundry in it? Suggestion from you would be highly appretiated.
