I reckon, when thinking of the engines vs the prisoner cell, that SC ships are most likely extremely heat resistant to be able to handle re-entry, even more so than modern spaceshuttles, so i reckon that the shell's exterior is able to divert the radiant heat away from the inside.
Looks very much like a raven to me; a sound choice given the expected use for the ship. Oh, and the navigation lights on the wing tip are for entering and leaving port. At a glance you can tell if the ship is approach oriented or departing. If the red light is on your right side it is incoming toward you. "Red right returning" in Sailor jargon.
Don’t know if this has been pointed out but when you capture someone, when they are secured (like put into the transport chair) that PC become an NPC, and the player wakes up in the prison so you can’t lock another player away for an extended period. You fly to go deliver the bounty target and the post-hunted player goes through the ‘leave prison’ mechanics while you are in transit.

It has two forward landing gear that look similar to talons, like a Hawk, the cockpit has a downward looking window to stalk it's prey, like a Hawk... hence the name...
FYI about the bounty hunting cell: The player will be auto-spawned in the prison once they are put in the cell. NPC's will have to be taken to the prison for drop off. So it saves the player that got caught the chance of being kidnapped by the bounty hunter.
Speaking of Transformers; If I had one of these ships, I'd name it "Lazer Beak". It could also be used as a search and rescue for picking up one person you don't quite know or trust.
Don't forget to cover the equipment locker and gun rack on the bottom by the rear landing leg! an important part of this ship, when not being able to fly with armour. The only light fighter with that as I understand it and good design for its bounty hunting purpose.
maybe being able to open the exterior but not loading the enter ship animation means that they will put a size 0 or size 1 component under the seat that you can change out or change out their subcomponents.
I need to find the video again, but I remember them saying in a Reverse the Verse episode that Player Bounties captured and placed in a Cell would be replaced with a proxy version and allowed to respawn as normal, preventing instances of players being trapped in cells indefinitely should their captor log-off.
They actually said that once you get captured you can respawn. The player that captured you will have a NPC take over as playing prisoner in your character. You can stay and role play the entire thing, or you can respawn directly and the other player will simply deliver an NPC version of you.
I like the style of the Hawk. I may end up upgrading my Arrow to a Hawk. My plan for the Arrow was to get 2 more of the top turrets, and then mount a total of 6 size 1 ballistic scatterguns. With the Hawk, I can mount 6 scatterguns, but a few of them larger than the rest increasing my firepower by about 30%. Also get a EMP for my trouble, a bed (sort of), and more fuel tanks. I love the the Arrow, but if it truly is so short range then the Hawk might be a better fit.
Jacob Liefeld as far as fire power/usability goes, do you think the arrow is better? I heard the emp is basically useless on the hawk, and it doesn’t have missiles. I have an arrow atm so it’s a $25 upgrade to the hawk and I wanna do it but I’m not sure if it’s really a waste at the moment
Depends on the Arrow's range. If nothing else, the Hawk can use the prisioner cell as a bed. Arrow will never have bed access. Also, it depends on what you plan to use as weapons. Ballistic scatterguns at the moment have high dps at low sizes to the point where taking two size 1’s is equivalent to one size 3.
I think they mentioned that when you capture someone, their body turns into Cargo, or something like that, which i guess, means that they can spawn somewhere else or something, but who knows xD
