Newfies are the worlds best dogs! They love children and are great protectors of them. Whenever they see anyone in the water, they automatically assume that person is drowning and will go “rescue” them.

That big bushy tail! Gorgeous!! Any Newfoundland dog owner knows they are never going to complete a walk w/o someone stopping them asking about their dog. Idky he acted like he was in such a rush.

They are placid, easily trained, highly intelligent and great with kids. Water is the best, as are soccer balls. My dog could hold one in his mouth and with twinkling eyes, smile. Just a delight to have sround so long as you like brushing a dog and being constantly stopped by admirers.

He lives near my house and we meet him quite often .. and I feel so good to meet him..
There was a dog show near our house recently and he got 2nd position ☺️..

We love taking our Newf girl out to get extra pets. It’s funny that Baloo turned around after greeting the new friends; this is exactly what our girl does. I’m betting he wanted a butt scratch!

My favorite breed and I love its brown coat. The owner pronounced the name wrong - it´s not NewFOUNDland, it´s NewFUNland (most people call them Newfie). It´s origin is from the province of Newfoundland in Canada. Thank you for sharing.
