- Nine Inch Nails performing Down In It during various Fragility 2.0 festivals in 2000.
Audio: ninlive.com/shows/2000/2000070...
Note: This video was originally posted on nin.com sometime in the early 2000s with compressed audio. I just matched up a higher quality version of the audio to the visuals.
I believe the original video was cut and edited by Rob Sheridan. Check him out: rob-sheridan.com/
Is nobody gonna talk about the fantastic drummer on the set?
Who is the drummer?
Manuel Fong I believe it's Jerome Dillon, he toured with NIN from 2000 to about 2006.
arid bitch thanks man
Jerome Dillon is still my favorite drummer for NIN. This specific lineup for sure.
What is amazing about NIN is how they can take what sounds like electronica on the album into these live performances. Trent has given all indications that he is a human being so I expect these musicians were fairly compensated.
Lohner smashes the fuck out of that OHH OHHHH key, I love it.
literally the best version of a song ever
FUCKING FACT
Impossible not to headbang with this performance!!
Best performance of this song.
fuck, this version is sick. i love it.
Better than I imagined a live performance of this tune.
Jerome Dillon is the pulse of this band. Awesome drummer.
While I think Josh Freese and Ilan Rubin are more technically proficient drummers, Jerome is like a human metronome. He makes it sound like it's a studio recording or a drum machine he is insanely precise in his playing.
Jerome was the best NIN drummer ever. This song exemplifies it. He has the power of Vrenna and Freese, but no one could groove like Jerome.
OH MY GOD I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH AN EPIC ENDING ON A NINE INCH NAILS SONG BEFORE!! FUCKING BRUTAAAAL!!
This performance is incredible! What an outstanding show! It really exhibits the musicians ability and of course Reznor is amazing!
One of my favorite concerts ever. I was smoking a joint at the top of the stadium during this.
I was up above it, and it rocked! :)
I'm jelly
Jesus christ that fucking endddingggggg is insaaaaaane
GODDAMN. Fucking masterpiece of a song performed with serious passion. This is beautiful.
It certainly is
That was amazing. I love this version better than the multiple album versions, remixes and amateur remixes. The video was good too. I feel like I was at the show. I'm all amped up and ready to fuck shit up lol
that was good. good job, band.
Rain has left the chat.
Quick someone get some weather balloons we'll send this video to a farm in Indiana.

I get that reference :v
What news gossip show, though?
@@jhonnycagexrage7458 I don't get it
Go international, might aswell get GIGN or AFP or something to do it instead of FBI
It’s awesome to see Trent, Danny, Charlie and Robin on stage again together.
Don’t forget Jerome
That's my favorite lineup.
@@albatross580 I was referring to the Downward Sprial era of the band. Unfortunately James couldn’t be there. Jerome hadn’t joined until 99 according to Google. But I’m sure that his contributions were worthy. Trent always works with the best.
Long term NIN fan , remember the first time i heard this debut album Pretty Hate Machine and single . This version live , with this line up and the whole feel and atmosphere, is off the chart good. Reznor and the NIN band at this period, are class act 👍
NIN/David Bowie was my first concert in 1995... brings back high school memories.
OOOOOOO You probably got see the live version of Closer to God song. I love that version of Closer.
Man i wish someone could invent a time machine 😢 Take me back to the 90s please!!!!
Yea I completely missed out on the Self Destruct Tour.😢
holy fuck!!! A M A Z I N G!!!
My fav nin lineup
Probably my favorite nin song.. And I love them all!!
Their first and best
Only another favorite.. but I'm not on that song.. Trent at his prime
“Head like a hole” is a great head banger from them!.
That was an incredible performance! I need to see them live again.
I've seen them 4 times and it is not enough.
This is easily the best performance of this track I’ve seen
Wow. This is kickass
How does this not have more views? 0.0
lol i got goosebumps
Holy fuck that's badass
This version is OP :o
YES! thanks for uploading this, its my fav version of the song! just as emotional as the woodstock performance but much better audio!
Great performance from a great band. As a long time fan, NIN is one of the few bands in the MTV video era whose live act is at least as good if not better than their studio masters.
But you know, ever since I saw the Rammstein Live In Paris vid I'm kinda disappointed not to see a keyboard guy on a treadmill... 😁
If someone downvotes this. We must get retribution.
Good job mistaking likes for downvotes.
I'll bring the torches and spears...
That was an amazing performance!
this shits so hard
Best Intro.
Drummer looks badass!.
This man is f**king precious as diamond
4:06 - 4:11 Best part .. LMFAO!
Pete Agassi Rewatching this pretty much every day just because of that part XD
the entire crowd is synchronized jumping and there are like two or three people who are somehow following suit, while completely down in it... I mean upside down... lol
This is probably the only hip hop rap song releseased by nine inch nails
That first "Alright!" Sounded like an old man. Great song, and performance near his prime.
awesome!
Jesus!! Good as grand
Great Vid Mecha ,bands Oozing Energy and danger
There's a job for everyone in music unique is in...
YAAAAAAAAAAAAS
That UFO sample gets around.
I want to be this.
Great 👍
This damn close to Rappin' Trent.
Jerome was awesome back there
I always thought he said "How is everybody"
:)
I was!!!
💟☄️💟☄️💟☄️💟
Anyone in 2022?
Yessirrr🔥
Yup
Trent created his own world by combining Ministry and Skinny Puppy, and gave birth to just about everything that followed him.
When the funk becomes an obscured Nation...
How does he do that scream?
Because he's Trent.
and he could do that for 3 hours apparently
Jerome fn Dillion.
00's homme on keys
