Awesome video. I eacaped into another world as well for the past 15 months. I set out to do justice to a musician who touched my heart. Nobody asked me to do it. I'm an engineer, I saw a problem, diagnosed it, and fixed it. It's all about preserving her live legacy. Monetization never crossed my mind. Through her I was able to peek into amazing hidden world of live Japanese music, discovered jazz and jazz-fusion and host of other amazing musicians in Japan. I had to learn video editing, something I've never done until then. I also learned music theory and that's how I discovered your channel. I've been a great fan to her (some called me a creep, others called me the best fan of any artist they've ever seen) and now the jury is finally out. I've earned her trust and I'll get to meet her and help her next month as she embarks onto next stage of her career, going global. Good things happen to good people after all. I never expected anything out of it, I already had her music, it was good enough for me.
Thanks for sharing this, it’s an awesome story. I remember seeing your channel last year. It’s amazing to see how far posting videos on UA-cam has brought you. Great work. Keep it going!
@@nathaniel_hall Thanks. It's not for me. It's her legacy. I just made sure that she's well represented on the Internet under her Romanized name and as amazing musician that she really is. What I did on my channel, you get jailed for 10 years in Japan.
Hi Nathaniel, great video, great story. I literally launched my channel last week. Looking forward to watching more of your videos; not the music ones 😂 Ive got a friend who has a Logic Pro channel with 24k subs, so I know it can be big. Well done for sticking to your WHY and all the best in growing the channel. Thanks for the inspiration and knowledge.
Thanks Anthony! I was ready to take the music production content all the way, but life had different plans haha. Now I’ve actually found my purpose for creating content. Always my pleasure to inspire others. See you around :)
I subbed from your Logic Pro Tutorials. Keep it up man
Thanks man! Appreciate you sticking out for the ride
