Awesome interview! I was totally shocked and sad when they killed off Ben Urich as well. He is such a great character, and the actor that played him was AMAZING! He was actually my favorite actor on the show, every scene with him was amazing.

DeKnight did a terrific job with the season 1!!! The whole season is so well rounded. It follows certain tone throughout it all... its really high quality! The characters didn't lose the sense of their character. Which happens alot in some shows... The dinamics were perfect. It shows that he counted on us binge watching it hahah :D The scenes were so comicbook-like, magnificent. The fight choreographies were trill to watch. They didn't force crazy cliff hangers. There was no unnecesary cheezy filler romantic drama. The message, the moral struggle, the dialogues....Everything was soo soooo much fun to watch!! 10/10 I'm officialy a fan :))))
CW's DC shows (Arrow and Flash) are shit compared to this show this is what marvel needed to get them at #1 this show has that dark gritty side to it and usually marvel being too kid friendly in the cinematic universe but I just love this show can't wait for season 2 and hopefully Netflix gets the go ahead to make a punisher series and lube cage series turns out as great as this

I watched the first 2 seasons of Arrow and a couple of season 3 but for me it got really bad really fast and I could never get into Flash and Gotham. This Daredevil show is the shit and I can't wait for the second season.
I absolutely loved this show. The look, the mood, the cast, the approach. It is so good to see Daredevil have something nice for once outside of the comics. I love that they reference the Avengers and all and I would be so happy to see Daredevil in future Marvel movies, maybe Civil War? Kind of bummed that they killed Ben Urich already and that we only got to see Stick and the Red costume for one episode but I can easily say this is the best super hero show available right now in my opinion. I liked Arrow for a while until it started getting cheesy for my taste and resembling your typical CW show and I couldn't get into Flash or Gotham at all but Daredevil has been one of my favorite comic heroes forever and I love that he finally got a show and people who are doing it right putting it together. Cannot wait for season 2.

Not to mention Chip Kelly got rid of damn near every good player they had. The Sixers were a playoff team with guys like Holiday, Igoudala, Young etc and they traded them all away and they're a bottomfeeder now. the Flyers have too much talent to suck this bad. And the Phillies....................... Don't even get me started on the Phils......... haha

Actors 10/10 cleverly written script... 20/20 did I get hooked? U bet ur ass I did! LOVE D THIS! A rollercoaster of emotions between Matt and foggy and between Fisk losing close ones was a perfect balance with the action! Marvel Entertainment

I don't know anything about Daredevil but after watching the show you can consider me a fan. However, I don't understand how people need to immediately compare this show to another and say "Daredevil is better than show X", when in reality why does it matter? Wouldn't it make more sense to get off your high horse and instead be grateful there is another good superhero show that is of quality?

I mean they'd have to find a way to break Karen Page down into a heroin junkie and porn actress and all which seems like it isn't in her character on the show but there's other ways and also they mention "her past" so I think it will eventually come up

Though I really enjoy watching them, they can be so much better. Can't wait to see Apocalypse though!
I think one of the things that made the show so great was the fact that it was so grounded in reality. Daredevil has no real superpowers and Kingpin has no real superpowers. There was no real mention of Aliens or superheroes. I'm actually afraid that a second season will turn out bad because they are going to bring those things in. The 13th episode was already kinda off, when Daredevil put on his red costume. It looked like Captain America in red and was not fitting the style of the show at all. I loved this season, but I think any further seasons will have a hard time keeping the quality on this level.

The problem with them is that they won't have the blood and violence that they need to carry off a dark gritty story like Daredevil did, they are trying to be dark and menacing but still have a low age rating to get more people into the cinema and make more money! They can't have it both ways. I just hope Marvel keep breaking the trend with things like Guardian's.
I'm on episode 6 and I think this series is boring and complete shit, in fact at this point I feel like I'm forcing myself to watch it. This series is not even comparable to Flash let alone Arrow.
