I feel that because of programmes like this, I knew what was going on in the world as a small child. I have a 4&5 year old and things are completely different for them. When I was young, we had 3 channels and you had no choice but to watch the news and programmes like world in action. Nowadays, kids can just watch endless cartoons on the 20 kids channels. It’s made me rethink the stuff my kids watch to be honest 😳

Like weekend world, these were the best current affair programs of their time and had amazing theme tunes.
