What IS clear to me, though, is MISA takes Kanami's basic patterns and melds them into some truly inspiring lines that to my ear, add a unique layer of energy and movement into each song. Something special (and certainly not your standard track the root fare). Imho, it's a critical component of the overall band sound and a _big_ part of their energy. I was hoping to find MISA`s birthday slide when I got home after work today. Again you came through like a boss with a terrific slide featuring our beloved bad-ass assassin bassist. Dorian, you will always be the man providing soul-food for Band-Maid fans across the globe.
It always amuses me to see pics of MISA and the rest in street clothes and being all girly. I'm used to seeing them working and being professional with some, but not a lot, of clowning around. So, it's nice to see the other sides of them. With as reserved as MISA is, it's good to know that she's a ham, too. I have to wonder how often she wears through her stockings as she goes barefoot through most concerts.

OMG--MISA MISA MISA!!! it's a belated birthday to our BAREFOOT BADASS ASSASSIN!! One of these days I'm going to actually get here on UA-cam on the actual day! Dorian, you've outdone yourself once again-what a tribute to the coolest, best bassist working today! Arigato! As others have mentioned, her childhood photos were so endearing. Your slideshow made me reflect once again the absolute joy that she and the band bring me, the power and radiance they generate is a treasure to us all! And as Jim S said, that Vladimir Zelentsov track put quite the grin on my face-what a totally appropriate tune for MISA MISA MISA! It always amuses me to see pics of MISA and the rest in street clothes and being all girly. I'm used to seeing them working and being professional with some, but not a lot, of clowning around. So, it's nice to see the other sides of them. With as reserved as MISA is, it's good to know that she's a ham, too.
I have to wonder how often she wears through her stockings as she goes barefoot through most concerts.
