Mikael did exactly the same thing when I saw Dark Tranquillity back in 2007. He dived into the crowd and we all carried him as he sang away. It was epic. It’s awesome how he interacts with the fans like this. That DVD is one of the sharpest looking productions I have ever seen. This is National Music of Sweden 🇸🇪.
THANK YOU! god i love that so many people are completely dumb founded by whole metal as one idea. i've heard people diss the "goth-love" metal band HIM, then watch a killswitch engage video, posting a comment of killswitch being the only real metal, while the guitarist wears a heartagram shirt. I've listened to people complain that some bands just aren't hard or brutal, while they listen to a metal love song. it's just ridiculous. listen to what you like, and like it despite what others say.

Over a decade later and i think I can confidently say this entire DVD is one of the best metal concerts captured on video of all time thus far. The only strike against it is that it was at a time where 1080p+ wasn't really a thing yet. Obviously the music, but the stage presence, the lighting, the ambience, the engagement of the crowd, etc., all the ingredients for a damn fine experience. Im jealous Milan circa 2009. Y'all had an all time historic performance with this set.

my band oppened for them in their caracas, venezuela's concert so i got to meet all of them, i was impressed at how down to earth this guys were, they were awesome as always and everytime i watch this video i get chills remembering when mikael said "caracas finish this one if you will FINAL... RESISTANCE"!
Mikael Stanne is one of the most badass vocalists out there. Love his line "My name is Mikael and I like to scream" seen on their website when Fiction came out. Awesome ^^

Holy shit. It's official: this DVD is going to be 100 million times better than their first attempt. I can attest to Mikael's awesome stage energy - I've seen them twice and while he certainly didn't leap INTO the freakin audience like in this performance, he is always reaching out to people, grabbing their hands etc. He's one hell of a frontman, and this video pretty much sums up why DT is my absolute favorite band.
These guys are pretty badass. I like the video of the live show. The crowd is super into it, awesome. I will be seeing these guys w/ KSE on 2-13, I hope it is super killer awesome.
