Characters like Akane and Kazuichi can't contribute well to trials because they're too specialized. That's why Danganronpa main characters are always normal guys. My One true ship..................... I love (spoiler for everything about chiaki and DR3 anime) Chiaki in anime than the game one, but a gamer is a gamer anywhere..... But seriously, the anime chiaki was very relatable to me in many ways, like how she got over the feeling of "I wont have friends" and being introverted to getting a bit assertive and having all friends in form of her classmates and a special friend/BF who'd play games with you all the time. I really felt bad and I still cant get over it that easy.... I'm a bit mad at hajime, but even he didnt knew exactly what was gonna happen to him.... Circumstantial stuff happened to all of them and they fell for it.. Lets not forget that these are teenagers like 17-18.... The parents are somewhat not that great either... Kim Chi Well, the New World program itself does seem capable of transforming human consciousness into data (collaboration between the Ultimate Neurologist and Ultimate Programmer, right?)... so if souls are anchored to human bodies through the brain somehow (Despair Girls does seem to at least confirm souls exist in DR canon, and also there is the possibility that what happened to Ishimaru with Mondo might have been legitimate "soul fusion" [what with the changes he underwent in physical appearance similar to what happens to Hajime when it seems Chiaki and Izuru fuse with him at the climax of SDR2]), it's possible that the neural recreation of Chiaki created by the New World Program may have been accurate enough for Chiaki's soul to actually take control of, albeit with modified memories (and that might explain why AI Chiaki is always so tired).

Kim Chi Well, the New World program itself does seem capable of transforming human consciousness into data (collaboration between the Ultimate Neurologist and Ultimate Programmer, right?)... so if souls are anchored to human bodies through the brain somehow (Despair Girls does seem to at least confirm souls exist in DR canon, and also there is the possibility that what happened to Ishimaru with Mondo might have been legitimate "soul fusion" [what with the changes he underwent in physical appearance similar to what happens to Hajime when it seems Chiaki and Izuru fuse with him at the climax of SDR2]), it's possible that the neural recreation of Chiaki created by the New World Program may have been accurate enough for Chiaki's soul to actually take control of, albeit with modified memories (and that might explain why AI Chiaki is always so tired).
