- It's budget build-off time again! Hooray! This time we're using the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport Kit as the basis of the build. This week is a running video week, so I actually went out of doors and enjoyed the un-buggy spring we're having! No money spent, just some fun times, and like any good video, ducks.

So how is the paint scheme sitting with you Matt? Looking forward to see the body you will eventually run. For some reason I'm just not feeling the trd scheme on this body, weird. I think I have really enjoyed all your paint schemes up till now, and I am super looking forward to seeing the trekker fully painted, such an awesome rig. I was thinking it may be cool to set this rig up with 2 winches. Rear and forward mount, cuz often on a trail you just cant turn around to pull a buddy up or out etc. It also allows for some pretty trick maneuvers on the trail using both winches at the same time. Anyway, always dig your content, and I rock my new SBG hat with pride, ha.

I actually like the body and the colors. I could do without the T[u]rd logo, though. :) Just curious, why in so many shots does the rear end look so off-kilter? The body is significantly angled from the bumper...
Probably tweaked from a jump or something. No big deal, just didn’t get seated properly behind the bumper.
Much prefer your style of driving that over Harleys, much more scale.

How did you like your combination with the Reedy motor and HW esc. Looks smooth
Loving it! I did find that my motor got a bit hot after all the driving with the extreme OD/UD, so watch your temps if you do the same thing!
Good to know. Thinking of this electronic combo with the Element Kit and keep OD as is. My Traxxas though I am using ideas from this series. Love that red! What you going to do with this body if you do switch to the camper?
Great video editing skills, and the soundtrack was perfect for it too. You've got Josh beat on this one for sure ;-) which editing software do you use?
Thanks, I won't quit my day job then. I use Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

I read the motor got a little hot with the gear setup but... How was the low end control/torque? And did you have enough top end wheel speed when needed?
I really want to love this motor for the price! Just curious how you feel about its overall balance for a crawler.

This is a great video editing with a cherry on top. But this didnt do the rig any justice seemed like a timid trail for what it's capable of but well shot nonetheless.👍
